I wanted to order a TCI IFS pro touring front subframe for my 62 Chevy II. While looking on eBay I saw Tim’s shop. His email is, “I build em...,” so I called him. I explained to Tim that I am disabled and it’s not easy for me to do the mechanical work I’ve done for years at my own shop & that I wanted to order through him so it would come to my house assembled. I could have ordered the exact same subframe straight from a company’s catalog I have for almost $4500.00, but I paid Tim’s shop over $5200.00 because I thought he was assembling the front subframe. However, it came to my house in boxes, unassembled. It went from the company straight to my house, so I paid Tim about $700.00 to make a couple clicks on his computer to have it sent to me. I have to say, Tim did say he will refund a little over $400 for the mixup, though I haven’t seen the credit yet (it’s only been three days). I called TCI, and a sales manager named Evan Dalley (sp) sided with Tim. I said some bad words that I wish I could take back, but $700.+ will make bad words come out. The LORD will straighten it out.

I purchased a frame and suspension package from Tim's for a 1954 GMC pickup. The fabrication was done by TCI in southern California. We drove from central Ca. to pick up our package. The frame was built for a springer rear end. The parts were for a leaf spring rear end. TCI sent a rear end housing and parts for the springer rear end. The parts were for a GMC pickup 1955 to 1959. After waisting 3 weekends, we now have to get TCI to make things right. We spent over $12,500 and we would like to get this project going. Tim's Hot Rod needs more overskirt and control for what they sell.
