This is great little find. So much better than a corporate hotel or even a BNB. When we came back from supper we were greeted by a 12 piece band in the lobby. The beds are incredibly comfortable with down filled comforters. Fantastic location with an eclectic bistro next door where we enjoyed our morning breakfast. Definitely will be back.

The Weinhard hotel was like taking a step back in time. The antique furniture is beautiful and the old photos on the walls are an added touch. Oh and the sheets are so soft and the towels are wonderful. And I can't forget that great smelling bathroom hand soap. And the customer service was excellent. We will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this beautiful piece of history.

Our stay was comfortable with a clean room. Decor charming. There was a problem so I feel obligated to share. I left my apple phone charger there and the owner would not mail it back even if I provided a postage paid envelope, saying it her policy to charge 25.00 for anything left in her hotel. I can understand if it was a big item but I've mailed a charger back to a friend via post office and it's the price of 2 postage stamps. Polices and rules are reasonable to put in place but I also felt that as a quiet, polite and easy guest, mailing it back would have gone a long way in customer relations. We will not stay there again and I do not recommend it due to the strictly followed policies that allow hotel owners to hold hostage any personal belonging you accidentally leave in the room. For such a small item, it was reasonable to expect common courtesy instead of a hard core "policy" and excuse for collecting guests personal items they might leave behind.Noteworthy details: Beware of leaving items - hotel will keep them

This historic hotel is a gem, but it has to compete with the big Best Western that arrived 10 years ago. If you want personal connection to the owners, personal service, a hotel with charm and character, pick this place! There's a roof top garden area that's delightful. Breakfast choices are home-made with care. Quiche, yogurt made with honey, etc. Great coffee!

Great updated historic hotel. In July, downstairs was cool, upstairs was 75+ Other than the temp of the room being stuffy, everything was great. Lovely rooftop garden with fire pit, several seating areas and Cornhole game set up. Nice spot to unwind before settling down for the night. Breakfast was lovely as was the hostess.
