Wanted to set up a new business account here. But, good luck with that. Can't even reach someone on the phone there. I refuse to trust a place with my money if I can't just call and talk to someone during regular business hours.

HORRIBLE!! My mom banked with Horizon for decades and I was joint owner on her account. When she passed away, they were a hindrance instead of a help and were horrible to deal with! Darci Mankin in Deer Park, WA is the worse manager I've ever dealt with anywhere! I would give her a negative score on customer service! She is extremely rude and dismissive and refused to be even slightly helpful. While waiting to talk to her, I even watched her bring an old lady to tears by belittling her. I let Darci know my mom passed and I needed to get her will from her safe deposit box. I was on her accounts, on her box and was executor of her estate. Darci tried to talk me out of getting things from the box and told me the will means nothing. My mom's accounts (that I was joint owner on) were frozen and her automobile account (which I wasn't on) was sent to collections. My mom never had late payments and I wanted to keep it that way. Whenever I asked questions of Darci and Paige Smith at collections, I was told they couldn't share sensitive information. I was asking general questions. Paige was eventually reluctantly semi-helpful. Until probate was completed, it was a hassel every month to get her to make the automobile payment from the bank account. I was told I needed to let them sell the SUV and they would take a loss. There was only $12,000 still owing on a $40,000 vehicle. I didn't take their advice. Once probate was completed and they had taken time to verify the notarized judge's paperwork was real, I was able to pay off the SUV and sell it. It made a very good profit! Even after I was established as executor of my mom's estate, Darci Mankin was very rude and difficult to deal with. And, I still was not allowed to take care of my niece's account that my mom had established and was joint on. I started going to the Post Falls, ID branch closer to me and dealt with Michael Miewald. He was difficult to deal with too but he wasn't near as rude as Darci Mankin. Needless to say, when he offered to have me open an estate account to deal with my mom's estate, I just laughed! I won't deal with Horizon Credit Union ever again! I went with STCU and my niece put her account there too and asked me to be joint so I can help her. STCU understands how to provide stellar customer service, especially when people are grieving and trying to honor their loved ones by taking care of their estate. Horizon Credit Union just compounds the grief by trying to make it impossible to take care of a deceased person's accounts.

Love this bank. They treat you like family and are always so professional, courteous and kind. I have both a personal and business account through them and will always try to use them for any of my banking needs going forward. The Deer Park branch has a great team.

One of the worst banks to deal with you walk in they try to ignore you as long as possible. If you have a question they will say that they need to talk to the manager and say they will have them call you. It's been over a month and still haven't heard back from them. There corporate office isn't any better got a home refinance through them and I had to send the same paperwork 4 times. Because every time they would pass the loan to a new person they would email you for all your info that you sent to the last person that was handling your loan. But they have horrible customer if your looking for a new bank if look else where

We needed a loan for a camper trailer. We only had one business day to get it done. Staff at Horizon Credit Union in the north part of Spokane have been immensely helpful and made this sale possible! They were patient, knowledgeable, and empathetic. We are so grateful for them. Specifically Meghan G. a branch manager went above and beyond to help us. Thank you! We highly recommend Horizon Credit Union to anyone who is looking for a friendly and competent experience obtaining a loan.

I was extremely unhappy with customer service. I went in to open a bank account because I am new to the area. I stood there patiently waiting my turn. When I was asked to have a seat several people came to the drive through, I then was told they were unable to help me and told me I could schedule an appointment.

Horizon Credit Union mortgage Dept IS ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS. I called them on September 11, at 10:58am about refinancing to a VA loan. The gal had NO IDEA what the interest rate was. She continued to fumble around with her computer for almost 15 minutes, AND STILL COULDN'T TELL ME THE INTEREST RATE ON A VA LOAN. So the gal blamed it on her computer and said she'd call be back shortly. TODAY IS SEPTEMBER 19TH AT 3PM AND I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD A WORD BACK FROM HER. I guess business is so good these days that you blow off potential NEW customers. I would NEVER do business with this WORTHLESS BANK, EVER!!

We are new to the area, With this being the only bank in Deer Park I swung by to pull out cash. I am not a member yet, and this was my first experience at this bank. The ATM spit out 2-50s and made me pay my 350 fee because I am not a member. When I went in the bank and just asked if they could break it down to 20's they denied me and were RUDE!! Not going to change to this bank:( sad! I was hoping small town would have been friendlier.
