“Originally, we were upset because the cost was much higher than we thought it would be. From hanging weight to actual weight, we only received 55%. The website stated 65-75% meat. We were feeling jipped, I almost left a 1 star review at that point. Instead, I reached out to the girl at the shop in loon lake, from whom we had gotten the meat. She was very kind and accommodating and said she would reach out to Jen, the owner. Jen was so professional and kind. She contacted the butcher and got back to me and said it was just a higher fat cow, so there was less meat. She gave me a small refund anyway to bring the cost to what it would have been for a 65% actual weight. At that point, even though the cost was still more than I was wanting, I decided to leave no review because Jen was so kind. Up until that point, we had only tried the ground beef, and it was fine, but not worth 12$/pound.

Then we tried the steaks. Even the flank steaks, Denver steaks, etc., were tender and so flavorful. The roasts also were absolutely amazing and so tender. They were all definitely worth the 12$/pound. At first we said we would never go back to lone crow, but after trying the steaks and roasts, we really wish we could afford to come back!!! Due to job changes, we are unable to. For anyone with a little bit extra and wanting really good beef, I highly recommend Lone Crow Ranch!”
