These guys are stealing from people. I used my credit card with them to buy a couple of over priced sports drinks, and that same day they charged my card two more times. Once for $15 and once for $35. I'm turning these a-hole thieves in to the authorities.

This particular location is way to overprice but is the only convenient store in Des Moines that is open 24/7. They will quickly put their own phone number in to collect reward points, never lets you redeem your rewards points or don't honor promotions they have posted in store, and will say it is expired or not taking down yet. Price gouging to the fullest such as one Gatorade is $4.99 or even the 7/11 branded juices that is $1.50 at any other location is $3.99 here. During COVID-19 pandemic they were trying to sell the FREE COVID test the state was given out for $15 bucks and clearly said not for resale on the box.

There is an older gentleman that works here that seems to have a problem with every person that enters the store. He wants to provide as little customer service as possible.I am a delivery driver and upon entering the store my items were not placed in a bag neatly as before. I was here the night before and the young man was very helpful and followed the guidelines of the pickup/delivery service to a T.My items were strewn across the counter and he yelled at me to fill up the slurpee drinks that were requested while also handing me the incorrect sizes and demanding I use those cups.I pointed out to him they were not only incorrect in size but also no lids were available. He regretfully let me use the correct sizes and as I went to leave I asked for the items to be placed in a bag.He got very upset and angrily handed me a small flimsy plastic bag, for 3 slurpees and 2 or 3 other snack items.I asked for the correct paper delivery bag that I had seen behind the counter and he became even more irate. He handed me the bag and seemed to tell me off under his breath.I told him to have a great night and that I'm a regular customer that just wants to provide good service to my own customers and that not providing what they have rightfully paid for is not good customer service. He proceeded to tell me that his job was harder than mine and I don't understand.Beforehand, a young man was in line. He purchased his items and looked down at his change. He had been shorted 2 pennies. He asked for his change and the man became angry with him. He opened the drawer and told him he had no change. After the young man insisted he give him change that he could see from where he was standing the man behind the counter threw a nickel at him. After that the customer asked for a refund and got red in the face telling the cashier how not okay it is to just assume change is yours which I completely agree with. The cashier also seemed to tell him off.Just another example of someone that doesn't want to work in customer service and shouldn't.WOW.

This has to be the most filthy 7-11 I have ever been in. And watch out for the 1.5 foot deep pot hole when entering or leaving the parking lot.

Drastically overpriced (2-3 x market). Drive 3-5 minutes further either direction for normal prices.

Go up the street towards 99. Prices are 2x here than they are 2 miles away.

Stopped in to grab a couple slurpees on a warm day for the kids and the slurpee area was a wreck. Looked like someone walked in and threw all the lids and straws everywhere. And then I look down after waiting 10 minutes for them to grab me a lid from the back and I looked down and see a crate full of frozen chicken strips just sitting on the ground. Don't eat the food here.

So I deliver for Door Dash, and I stopped at this 7- Eleven. Long story short they are marking their products at a 100-200% mark up. 20oz soda is supposed to be anywhere between $1.99 & $2.19 a bottle. They are marking their sodas at $3.99. That is way to expensive. They are ripping people off with those prices. Shop there at your own risk. They need to lower their prices.

Horrible. The old gentleman on Sunday night 1/17/2021 around 8:45 was the absolute worst. He was so rude and on his phone the majority of the time. Said he wouldn’t change the price because I grabbed the wrong thing. Insulted me several times. Such a j**** Horrible customer service. If you hate your job that much and people get a new one! The younger gentleman I dealt with around 6 though was absolutely so kind and wonderful. Very welcoming. Regardless I will never go back as long as that old guy is working there. I suggest everyone go there earlier in the day.

Went into this 7-Eleven and the guy behind the counter was handling food not wearing a mask. Nose and mouth exposed to food. He also was not wearing sanitation gloves while handling the food. Between the point of sale and food. Additionally every customer outside and inside the store was not wearing a mask or keeping 6 ft.

The cashier I often see working never wears his mask properly (just around his neck). I am not so much concerned about my safety as I am at his blatant disregard of the rules that EVERYONE in the world has to follow, including me to go inside and get a snack. He isn't above the rules. I come to this one because it is walking distance to my store. But if they aren't following such an easy rule (such as wearing a mask while working) what ELSE are they not following? I noticed they also only got a "Good" on their King County Food inspection. I only come here for packaged food and I check the expiration dates. Someone should really talk to the management about the mask rule as they could get fined. If I have to wear a mask in my essential job, then so do you. No one who works with the public is exempt from this.
