If I could put negative stars I would. Was called to cancel my appointment after I had taken time off work and was on my way to office, person on the phone is completely insensitive, unclear, and just told that they couldn’t make any scheduling changes if I came in earlier than my appointment, even though they were already changing it due to only having one person in office. If they know they are short staff, this should’ve been done within 24 hrs.

This is the best post office in all Washington. ✨All the girls who work at the post office are always kind, sweet and happy to help🤍. I would give them 1 000 000 stars, but I can only give them 5.

Had an important package that I missed today, called in and had Alycia Everett help me. Alycia gave me quick information, the timing of the mailman when he returned to the office, and finally quick service in receiving the package when I arrived. Best service I've had at yet at USPS.

I want to take a moment to recognize Jennifer T. at the Des Moines USPS office on 216th. She is, without question, the best post office employee I’ve ever encountered. I come in a few times a week, and every single time, she greets everyone with a genuine smile and a level of kindness that you can feel from the back of the line.
I’ve watched her handle 20 different customers in a row with patience, grace, and positivity — never once losing her upbeat attitude. Jennifer doesn’t just do her job; she truly cares about people, and it shows in every interaction.
She deserves a raise, recognition, and honestly, she should be running the place. The Des Moines post office is lucky to have her, and so are we as customers. Thank you, Jennifer, for making every visit a great one.

Carrie denied a visually impaired person help
He couldn't see well enough to address the envelope just purchased in order to get his taxes sent off
She pushed him to the corner siding she was too busy to that he had to wait there when nobody else was there

I had a great experience at this post office. The staff here are very friendly and professional. Carie helped me with my mailing process and made everything easy and smooth. She was very helpful and kind.
There were no long lines, and the service was incredibly fast. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service. Thank you, Carie, and the entire team!

Always a pleasure bringing in my orders for delivery. Sorry Hop Hop Hop, Jan 9th all federal offices were closed for Jimmy Carter's national day of mourning. No need to wine about it.

Placed Christmas Cards in outer mail box, never delivered. It’s like they threw them away!!!

Frustrating when you are used to a blue collection box there but they removed it. You have to wait until the lobby opens. Google also hasn't been updated.
