“On a whim my son and I decided to pull over and pick some flowers ? The two ladies working on the farm were kind and patient with my 6 year old, we will be back! They had lots of veggies and some fruits that were priced well.”

“We went for strawberry pick your own once it was available. The field is pretty small but there are plenty of strawberries to pick and they are nicely shaped and tasty. The price is $4 per lb. A very fair price for high quality berries.”

“We couldn't believe how generous this place is: they just let you walk right in and pet the friendly goats, gawk at the peacocks, and get to know the cheerful chickens, for free! And they even gave us complimentary hot cider. The staff was kind. There's an impressive array of local produce, including mushrooms and dried spices.Prices varied from quite reasonable for apples to rather steep for other items. I wondered if $7 for a dozen eggs could be worth it, but after tasting them, I can say, unequivocally, YES! It's as if I have never actually eaten a real egg before. It was an entire experience.”

“Working with Lowlands was such a special experience. We were so excited to support a local woman owned business to have fresh florals for our wedding day. It was a memorable experience building bouquets with family and friends the day before. Everything was stunning and they went above and beyond to make sure pick up went smoothly!”

“We love their family days, which have great farm to table food ( they grow the best salad greens in their greenhouse and have loved the seasonal menu cooked over an open fire grill, and they usually have gluten free options). We’ve done a few of their conservation tours and I’m so impressed by the massive native plants at greenhouse. Live music in a beautiful spot with room for the kids to run around and play in the kids garden, great food and plenty to do, and there’s even a farm stand to grab some unique heirloom produce on your way out. I can’t recommend this spot enough for folks who want to connect their families with the land through environmental stewardship.”

“Banging breakfast sandwiches made fresh on the grill at farmers markets near you! Their sausages are fantastic! The classic breakfast sandwich is made with a mouth watering sage sausage and the addition of pickled peppers is prefect. I left farmers to eat mine and waited in line to get back in after just so I could buy some of the sausage to take home. The next week, I tried the thai version which was just as good and had a little kick. Both were served on a gorgeous toasted brioche bun with egg and cheese. Friendly workers too! The lady recognized me when I went back and asked how I liked the sandwich. I chatted up the grill master who said they usually get 5-6 patties per pound of sausage. I used this portion size at home too and it was perfect. Highly recommend checking them out!”
