The food here definitely deserves a five star but the male cashier seems to like giving hard time to English-as-second language people, or just for skin color. Definitely not want to see him again. Food is authentic American farmers flavor which is great.

Really great bakery/cafe with so much variety. Everything we had was delicious and we especially liked the cinnamon scones - maybe the best scone I’ve ever tasted. Chocolate chip cookie exceeded expectations too. Croissants are big and had a solid crumb. Looking fwd to going back.

As catchy as “grateful bread” is, the experience itself was super underwhelming and disappointing. The bagel tasted like everyday grocery store bagels, and the baguettes were super dense and soft, not the fresh crusty exterior I was hoping for. For a $20 breakfast it was super disappointing, and the wait was super long.

The pastries are great!Tea selection is good! But I have to go down to three stars because this had to be the worst mocha I've ever had. We asked them to remake it and it was the exact same, so it must be the way it's made here. I don't know how to describe it other than it was very watery and bland. It did not taste like any espresso was in it and I could not taste the chocolate. The key tastes to a mocha....

Great pastries and coffee. Kids and adults loved the cookies. I recommend the chocolate chocolate chip cookie with mint icing for a real treat.Shop is warm and welcoming. Staff at the register seemed new and were apologetic for taking extra time.Vegetarian options: It's a bakery with plenty of non-meat options.Parking: We parked on the street right out front. Doesn't appear to have a dedicated lot.Kid-friendliness: Kids loved the cookies and kids hot cocoa.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a step up from the street level.

I love having lunch here. To be a five stars for me, it would be perfect to enjoy a dine-in meal or coffee without disposable dishes, silverware and/or cups. Besides that, very good!

I went yesterday at 8 am and got the croissants and raspberry scone. They are to die for! The scone is one of the best scones I have ever had, and the croissants were huge and fresh too. The service was spot on and Mike the cashier was professional, direct, and very friendly. Hands down my favorite bakery. And their beverage menu is great. Seating is exceptional as well. I highly recommend this establishment. ?

Top bakery IF NOT THE BEST in Washington, seriously. Hometown vibe, please never change!Culinary Arts schools should study how they make pastries and pies here in culinary school. Truly a blessing and very grateful for their bread!
