Aaron, the lead pharmacist, is terrific and " on top of his game" ! He is always patient, kind-hearted, and very knowledgeable. He carefully explains the pros and cons of my medications. Robin, the pharmacy technician, is also very nice and helpful.

Riley O, I just wanted to say sorry that you felt like I was trying to refuse you a vaccination. Your age and having had a prior vaccination did make you ineligible for another dose, but you did say after that you had a medical condition that did qualify you. I was not refusing you, I was giving you the best information that I could, which was that a new vaccine was coming in a couple weeks and it was better targeted for the current variant. I am all for vaccines and I would have given you that vaccine, but you became upset and walked away. Again, I am sorry for our misunderstanding!

They refused me a covid shot without even checking eligibility. They want me to wait for the new formulation. Why did you let me book it and refuse to do the thing we agreed to.

I'm disappointed in the pharmacy. I have had both good and not so great experiences, but recently it's been not great. Recently I contacted them to see if they have anyone on staff who works with people who have phobias of needles. I was pretty much told "we work both the pharmacy and give shots so we try to get in and out". When I went over that it doesn't quite sound like they understood what I meant by having a phobia, they tried interrupting me that they do understand. At that point the conversation just kept going on in circles.I can only imagine the terrible experience someone like me could have here trying to just get a shot. There should be designated staff members for children or older folks with fears of needles.

Very kind staff. They go above and beyond what you would expect from a grocery pharmacy. Must be the Duvall charm.

They're not really quick on their appointments but the covid vaccine are pretty fast i guess. They don't allow for any walkins so that's a bummer. When you go online, there's only so much appointments. I think when you want to book a same time for two people it might not work for most.

Don't count on them if you're looking to get a flu shot. I made an appointment only to be told they were totally out and come back tomorrow. Came back the next day only to be told they only give shots by appointment. They have signage up all over the place about walk ins but it's just a waste of time trying to get service there

It takes a lot for me to decide to write a review on Yelp, but after the experience my husband and I had with Safeways pharmacy in Duvall.. I just am shocked. I work in healthcare, I am a responsible adult as is my husband. I just had two very large orthopedic surgeries over the summer, one in May and one in July. I had just started using Safeways pharmacy because it was closer to our house, we originally used Microsoft's on campus Walgreens pharmacy but it was 30min away and Safeway was right by our house. I had my first surgery, had prescriptions sent to the pharmacy and had no problem picking them up. No problems with the refills. No problems with anything. Now here comes my second surgery, where they ended up having to do more in the operating room, and the pharmacist is telling my surgeon and husband that she does not want to refill the prescription sent in for me, even though it is the same prescription I had taken before for my first surgery. Fine, my surgeon was ticked off as was myself but it's still the closest pharmacy so She ended up writing for half the prescription.. and for some reason the pharmacist had no problem filling that prescription. The same medication... same route.. same dose.. just the amount in the bottle. I had just ran out of my first bottle that I received on the day of surgery, the pharmacist kept playing games for two days with prior auths and going around and around with my surgeon as I'm at home crying in pain because I just had bone cut out of me. When my surgeon wrote for half the prescription, my husband went to go get the medication and the pharmacist asked my husband if we had Naloxone/Narcan at home.. he told me that he was taken aback because he had never been asked that any other time he had picked up my post surgery medications and he felt that this pharmacist was judging very harshly. He said no I'm giving this to a responsible adult who's a nurse and he said the pharmacist rolled her eyes and said "sure she is". That was the most unprofessional exchange I have ever experienced. The entire thing.. the pharmacist saying she'll only fill half of the prescription, waiting an entire day to even speak to my surgeon, and speaking that way to my family member. As someone who works in healthcare.. this is not the way we treat our patients. My surgeon urged me to change my pharmacy because of how this pharmacist treated the situation. I spoke with QFC pharmacists and they kindly told me that there wouldn't be a problem refilling prescriptions with them and that they would not refuse to fill a prescription that a surgeon has called and spoke to the pharmacists about and told me that they were sorry that was my experience at Safeway.

I’m sure the people here are nice and everyone is doing their best so I’m not going to bash them with a negative rating, but other customers should know that in fact you do need an appointment for a COVID shot. Found this out after I had been discouraged to make an appointment and told It was better to just walk in. Not so folks.

Trash store. Rude employees. Unmasked patrons. Very little stock. This place is terrible

Safeway pharmacy is not trained to give an aspirated vaccine shot. Get your shot aspirated to shield you from improper injection of this intramuscular shot into you veins. Get the shot from a qualified source that can and will aspirate the shot.

Some employees are mad and don't like their work. Remember the customers are who pay indirectly your bills. Treat customers with respect please. One single bad instance blows up your reputation and damages the good work of the good employees.

Service at this pharmacy is beyond amazing. Been using it for 2 years. They know us by names. Contacted us when COVID vaccine was available for a senior in our home. Thank you for your work!
