This Post Office is a great example of why the USPS is RIGHTFULLY going out of business. I arrived just under the wire of their closing (1100 on a Saturday) I opened the door for an old lady and helped her carry in her packages. Even let her in line before me. I stood in line for a few minutes and was then told that the person in front of me was the last one to be served today and I could go to another post office in the next town over. Pathetic. Bueuocrats should all be put on the street!

I live between Lacey Post Office and this one on Rich Rd. This is the place to go. The line is short but sometimes when long… lthey get through in minutes. They work quickly but also make you feel at home there.

I'm getting really annoyed with USPS not fulfilling my pickup request. It's happened 3 times this month. I put my packages out in the morning and they never get picked up. I don't trust they'll actually pick up the next day so I have to then take time out of my already busy schedule to drop the packages off.

I think this place is crap and I think the employees are crap and they need to be a little more patient and kind

The post office overall these days seem to suck. We try our best not to use the post office because they over charge and half the time we don't get things sent to us!The lady at this location is rude. Sent out a late Christmas card yesterday to a friend and she told me I had to put a second stamp on it because the card had a little pop on it. Said if I didn't the receiver would half to pay the postage. I said weird I handed you 30 of these cards last month and didn't have this problem and no one had to pay for a second stamp to receive their card. Also, all the cats roaming inside the post office and on the counter as you pay is disgusting. It's the post office take your cats home.

It feels a bit weird to be compelled to review a post office, yet here I am. This is clearly a place where the employees enjoy their job and go out of their way to connect with their community. Their seasonal decorations, their personal touches, the *feline greeting committee*, their friendly advice for saving on shipping costs? All of this and I’ve never seen a line.I expect I will judge all future post office experiences based off of this remarkable little gem in the system.

I love the East Olympia Post Office. I read a couple of comments that weren’t positive, and am very much surprised. So I had to write to say I think the people who serve me there are wonderful. Sorry if someone happened to have a bad day, but that has never happened to me.

I went to East Oly Post Office after hitting a line out the door at the Lacey PO (about 10 min away). So glad I went here instead. Was in and out in 5 min.

Polite. Friendly service. Not busy at 11am. I drive out of my way to come here. I love the little bell. :) it’s adorable! Also, there are coloring sheets for little kids, and a sweet note on the entrance door. Positive vibes!
