This was my first time using a kennel and Mary was friendly, experienced and helpful for my special scheduling needs...plus my dog seemed happy there! I liked its smaller number of dogs and the location was pretty central.

This is a late review, but we were 100% pleased with our experience here. Being able to pick up and drop off our dog during the day was great. That enabled us to take him where we could, yet still enjoy eating out, etc.

We've been sending our dogs to Mary for over 15 years, and have nothing but trust and love for her and her establishment. We call it "dog disneyland." Please disregard the one negative comment from some city slicker who doesn't understand what Island life is, they obviously didn't call ahead of time and expected some McKennel.

We came here because the site advertised "doggy daycare" and instead found a closed kennel full of dogs barking. Doggy daycare is not the same thing as boarding. I really felt like it was false advertising.

Mary was so great and assuring. I felt that my pup was in good hands. Also: chocolates on the counter for the humans!

My boyfriend and I took our 8 month old puppy here while we went on a whale watching tour. It was our first time leaving her at a daycare, but we felt very comfortable doing so once we met Mary and saw the facilities. We could tell Mary knew what she was doing. When we picked up our pup, we could tell that she had a lot of playtime, because she was unusually tired. We will definitely take her back here when we are on the Island again.

I left my very spoiled and overly pampered dogs here for 4 days, and they were none the worse for wear. One thing I noticed right away: the kennel is CLEAN. I came to take a look at it unannounced the day before I left my dogs there and it was spotless. This was in the morning when the kennel first opened. I would have expected some smells due to overnight potty, but no. Mary is on the ball! She accommodated my overly coddled boys very well. I have a very old dog with arthritis and she put a thick rubber mat down on the concrete so he would have extra padding, also allowed me to put two beds in for him. The runs are average size, not cramped at all, with a little doggie hidey hole at the end where they can sleep in private. I can tell that Mary gives 100% effort for her clients, and would not hesitate to recommend this kennel to anyone who wants a clean, safe, worry-free place to leave their pets.

This Kennel was recommended to us by the local Vet. We went over to meet her and look at her facility before. It is simple, modest, and very very clean. She provides excellent food and bedding for the dog and cats. Our dog and cats received excellent personal care from Mary. She executed a detailed med schedule in addition to "room and board" without a hitch. I recommend her place to anyone who doesn't want to worry about their dog or cat when they have to be away.
