I don't know what I'd do without the Country Mouse quilt and craft shop. They are the only place within 25 miles that has embroidery thread and they even opened up for me after hours.

I was in need of supplies for knitting, embroidery and quilting. When we entered the store we waited for someone to greet us. We heard a television in the back room and the lights were on. We then explored the store. It was in need of stronger lighting and there was an unpleasant smell of dust, damp and neglect. The fabric choices were depressing. Going into the yarn area all we could find was a limited supply of Cascade Yarns and a lot of acrylic. There was embroidery floss, but I didn't want to interrupt their television show for a three dollar sale. Total waste of time. Instead of supporting a local small business we drove to Joanne's in Graham and found almost everything we needed. I'll have to go online to find the yummy yarn I'm looking for. My question is, "Why does this store exist? " So sad and disappointing.
