If you're ever in a hurry and need something before you hit the road, my first stop is not here. And this case value doesn't Trump service or flat out to customers needs. I'm talking about a staff that will air out their dirty laundry in front of you, as if you were a part of the crew and that you actually care about what they were talking about. It's always one register that's got a problem and they refuse to fix it. I needed something quick fast and the folks behind the register decided to run their end of day paperwork for the shift change, whether they placed my items on the table. And they thought it was all good but it was not. That's a half hour detail they decided to run while people were in the store. My last few visits were just listening to complaining and moaning and groaning about people, their job the whole nine. And after a while, it gets old I just want to get in and get out no drama no nothing.

I thought it was a reasonable idea to get a hot dog at Jackson's at 2:30 p.m. today, but they had zero hot dogs. When I asked the lady behind the counter about it, she said they were sold out. I then asked her if they only cook them once a day, and she walked over to the hot dog stand, looked at the emptiness, and said they're gone, and that she'd have more ready in about 40 minutes. I silently turned to leave the store, and as I approached the door she shouted out a snarky "have a nice day!" Had she not done that, I would not be writing this review. So, dear Jackson Corporation people.... I assume one of the tasks of your clerks is to frequently check all depletables and replenish them as necessary throughout the day. Hot dogs are one of those items. 2:30 p.m. is not an unreasonable time of day for a person to want a hot dog. Perhaps you need to put that part of the job description in bold letters. Or maybe in red letters. Whatever you think is needed for your clerks to understand the importance of restocking depletables throughout the day. This was not the brand new employee. This was an established an employee. Surely you have a no-snark policy as well, so bold/red that too. ?

Love me some Shell... quality gas in any state and just as great in this little big town of the Evergreen State. Jackson Shell has a massive layout making it easy to pull up to or out of a pump. The mini-market of convenience known as Jacksons is basically a 7-Eleven meets a WaWa (east coast)... tons of snacks, beverages, and a few prepacked, cold and hot eats not to mention those mildly marked-up items you seem to need when you can't find them like a car charger, a mask, chapstick, car care, etc. The carwash seems super easy and smooth as we saw about two cars go through and come out shiny. Easy, quality, and gallons of care on the corner of Edgewood and 24th St.
