Waited 30 minutes past the “promised” mobile order time on our receipt. Asked a few times for an update and turns out our blizzards were in the drive through refrigerator the past 20 minutes and our food was cold. The girl didn’t apologize and the Blizzards were soup by that point.

I'm fairly certain it's a pre requisite to lack basic manners to work here. The speaker needed to be replaced about 15 years ago. The owners of this restaurant have made it clear they don't care.

This DQ has changed. The service was poor. The last times I have gone, it makes me sad because it was a family favorite until about 2022. I have been going to the Edmonds DQ since 1993. No smiles or hellos at drive thru anymore, blizzards are not filled to the top anymore that makes me feel angry because the prices sure have gone up and the service and the servings have gone down, down, and down. At the drive thru, they act like they could care less about any customer.There customer service is colder than all of there ice cream.

The whole experience is bad, from the customer service to the ice cream and food. It’s all bad, all of it. Maybe it’s AirPods in the ears while serving customers. Or the terrible assembly of the ice cream they serve - have you ever had a dip cone from here?! It resembles little to what I am used to getting at other Dairy Queen’s. It’s possibly seeing a front end customer facing employee remove her un-gloved hands from a cleaning bucket to then immediately turn around and begin preparing food without washing her hands. Or the questionable temperature of the ice cream. There’s more, but I will stick to the details of just my most recent trip to this particular Dairy Queen. I have been here several times in my time living in Edmonds (nearly ten years) hoping it may get better, but each time I am sadly disappointed.

This is the one time I wish 0 stars was an option. I ordered an Oreo blizzard cake for my fiances birthday on Thursday I normally get a cheaper cake but wanted this year to be special so I splurged a little, I paid extra for customization/a picture of my fiance and our dog to be on the cake. I received a call from them the same day to confirm my order and pick up time, which would be Sunday at 1pm , when I came in to pickup the young woman brought out a plain cake with no picture and pink icing, this is for a 27 year old man who unfortunately does not prefer pink writing. The order form clearly said red. I tell the cashier the issue and she apologized and went to call her manager, who informed me the picture machine wasn't working, and he didn't know about the icing, but said he would call me shortly as he couldn't do anything when he's not there and he assured me I would be "taken care of" the woman then told me she could change the icing color, and it would be simple. I said okay and waited. This whole process took about an hour and I ended up with a cake with red gel and pink frosting from before smeared all over the cake behind the icing. I was so disappointed but since I was late to his party I had to take the cake and hope to be taken care of later. I would have been better off with a cake for 16$ at Safeway. Fast forward to now I get a call offering 50% off my next cake. My next cake??? Why would I trust them to do a cake again. They had 2 days to call me and tell me the picture machine wasn't working, so I could go to another dairy Queen. They wrote in pink icing and absolutely ruined my fiances cake. They then said they didn't have the power to do a refund, however after I finally voiced my discontentment fully they offered me a $10 refund. So they lied about being able to refund and did not take care of me leaving me with a messed up cake and an awkward situation, not to mention the cake was $60 and looked like a butchered mess. Don't put yourself through this and order from another dairy Queen.

Absolutely ridiculous. First no beef patties, then no chilli for the chilli hot dogs, then no queso for the pretzel sticks. Asked for an extra dog for the 2 for 5 deal and got home and they literally put two dogs in one bun. I understand it was 15min before closing but really?!?

I have tried to get dessert from this location 3 times, I have yet to have a good experience and will not try again.First time there I ordered 3 Blizzards, it took 45 minutes to get through the drive through. I got to the window and the employee tipped the first Blizzard upside down and it dumped to the ground. The second one was going the same way until she caught it with her free hand and righted the cup trying to pass it to me, after her hand was fully in the ice cream, I left.I refused the handled food and it was met with pushback, I drove away.I do not have the patience to describe the lack of interest in providing even a moderate amount of courtesy. They are slow, I mean really slow.I understand they are young, busy, short staffed. But they cannot process a simple order, in a reasonable amount of time.Save yourself the disappointment and frustration. Sitting in a short line of cars for extended periods only to find they got your order incorrect and have little interest in trying to make it right.
