Fun little place. Daughters preschool went here and had a lot of fun. They have a huge collection of frogs, some turtles and lizards as well from time to time.

Thayer is toadally awesome. She is knowledgeable, friendly and a great presenter. We hired her for our daughter's birthday and it was a hit! Seriously impressed. If you weren't totally into frogs before, then you will after learning about them and attending one of her workshops.

I walked into this shop Saturday and dogs started barking at Bella who was wearing her Service Dog cape. An attending woman told me dogs weren't allowed in the shop (even though she had 2 pugs on site). I told her mine was a Service Dog and she said even Service Dogs were not allowed and I said that was a problem as this had a lit gift shop sign and it was open to the public and she should call the police. She said she didn't have to- the police knew that Service Dogs aren't allowed in her shop and she grabbed me by my upper right arm, in a tight pinch, and pushed me out the door. I had the two boys with me. I stood dumb founded on the other side of the door that she slammed shut. I stared at the door trying to make sense of what happened. I tried to see if there was a sign about Service Dogs. None. I went blank. Then I started crying. My arm hurt. I felt humiliated. The boys were freaked out. They wanted to go home fast. I started walking back to the van and got so far then started getting light headed. I picked Bella up to calm down. I made it to the car and used Bella to do her job. I have panic attacks that sometime lead into full blown seizures. My Service Dog alrts me to an impending attack and I use her to calm me down and I may end up calming down enough to pull out of going into the seizure. Eventually I started the van for home and then realized- that woman laid her hands on me- why, because I am disabled and use a Service Dog and dared walk in her store. I told the boys we're going back and I'm calling the police and I'm going to file a charge against her. She shouldn't be able to do that to somebody. If she felt she had the right to boost me out of her shop she should have called the police on ME like I asked her to. I turned around and went back to the shop. The 911 operator kept me on the line because she could hear how upset I was. When the police arrived he took my statement and asked if I had marks. I knew I was sore where she grabbed me but I hadn't looked yet. I was quite red and swollen and he took pictures. This morning there was a bruise. The officer went back to the shop but the attending woman had left. He said he would go back today (Sunday 2/12 Gracie's birthday). He said there was a sign on the door that said 'Exotic pets are welcome'. Obviously my Service Dogs were not 'exotic' enough but her pugs were. I pressed a charge of assault through Edmonds and Monday, 2/13/2012 I will call and file a complaint with the ADA using the Department of Justice. The woman looks exactly like the picture of the woman shown as the owner on:
