Went in to get a sling when we got there the big door opened and I walked in and said your sign says closed and they said they were closed. A nice gentleman said what are you looking for and I explained I needed a sling for my son he said go ahead and see if you see one. I found one and headed to register the older woman with a ponytail started throwing a fit , in the meantime a elderly woman came in and the I am assuming the manager lady with ponytail just starting being totally rude I said the gentleman told me to go ahead and she was being rude to the elderly lady and told me I don’t care we close at 3 . I apologized and said I was not aware of that she said “ well its on the website on the door “ I had offered to come back the next day a couple of times to the gentleman prior to that and he said no you are ok. That manager was so rude and loud I just put my purchase down and walked out. I will not drive all the way from Lake Stevens to Edmonds to be treated so badly. Just a FYI it was 3:07 when I walked out so its not like we were there that long. ? I have been there before and heard that lady talk to people on the phone rude. Keep her there and soon you can close for Good The stars are for the nice gentleman that tried to help.

Been to the donor many times they're always very nice and respectful of others. They are volunteers and have a lot of great info. And knowledge.

Get the word out to anyone with a need for home medical gear. This stuff is pricey at full retail and might not be covered by insurance. Donors Closet is staffed by volunteers and sells gently used donated home medical (wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, etc.) at typically 25% of full retail. Maybe you are no longer in the market as your need has passed, so please consider donating here in lieu of your normal thrift store. It's a great cause!

My wife and I have purchased used and reconditioned walkers and shower seats here. When they wear out, we go back for more. A great deal for a great need.

Called just to have a quick chat and make sure MSHH was open today as it had been about 1 month since I initially contacted them to get info about the donation process. Initial contact was very pleasant and helpful. However, today, was 180 degrees different. Sandy (whom I spoke with, this time) was abrasive/ rude when I simply provided the answer that the wheelchair was 2 years old. Weird interaction that seemingly took an odd turn. I started the call off in a friendly tone and did not expect this to be the outpu, as last time the exchange was great. Perhaps a bad day? I assume folks there are old enough to know some basic manners. Unfortunately I will not donate to MHSS if they can treat folks like that for something that is being donated to them for good cause. Hope your day gets better.

Friendly staff. First contacted by phone to verify if they had a specific type of rollator. Spoke with Sandy who confirmed yes and placed it on hold for an hour. Item was exactly what was needed. She made the needed adjustments and loaded in the trunk, after payment of course. Great customer service experience.

A neighbor of mine motored around with her flashy new blue walker (used, but in new condition) in the showroom. The volunteers were patient and helpful. It's a community gem. Thanks.
