Picnic Point Park offers beautiful views and a pleasant atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy the beach, sunrise, and sunset. The park has some picnic tables and benches, but they can fill up quickly, so arriving early is recommended. The beach is accessible for walks and dog-friendly on the left side. Facilities include portable restrooms, which are available at the parking lot and near the beach, though they can be limited. The beach can be windy and the tide high at times, reducing available space. Overall, it’s a good spot to relax and enjoy nature, with a peaceful setting and scenic views.
Picnic Point has some of the most amazing sunsets around. Watching the sun go down over the water is always worth the trip. It's also a great place for the kids, with plenty of room to explore and play on the beach. One of our favorite family spots in the area.

It has a great accessibility ramp once you get passed the stairs from the parking lot. Then it drops you off straight to a watery beach!

Nice place, with stunning views. I knocked off a star, because of warnings not to let kids or dogs play around the creeks or rivlets running into the sound due to high levels of bacteria, and the waters around the beach are found unsafe to swim or wade in with bacterial contamination 40% of weekly testings.
