I was hoping for the best ! I got the worst. I thought if I spent more, I would get betterI bought 2 cans of paint, it had stuff in it. It got all over my project.They gave me 2 new cans of paint. But my project had to be sanded and re painted twice.Triple my tine. Twice the price.

The folks here are phenomenal and I couldn't have asked for a better intro to house painting! They gave me great guidance on what I'd need while also never trying to upsell me on anything unnecessary. Zach was patient and extremely helpful when I needed advice on a third coat and trim. Will definitely be going here for any future painting needs!

There are too many details to share, but I will say this store, the staff and manager Luis are all stellar!! 5-star stellar! Even the outside sales guy will jump in if he thinks he can help a customer get what they need. Truly above and beyond service (and good deals, too)!

Excellent and friendly customer service! The Sherwin-Williams team listened for my needs and was very helpful in helping select the tools that I would need for the painting task. He showed me all different price points and pointed out some of his favorite items and why he liked them. Will definitely be going back to the Edmonds store for future needs!

I've lived in Edmonds for 7 years now and never had an issue with this store. I've painted numerous rooms and have needed help from the employees of this store a handful of times and enjoyed the experience. But the last two times I have gone I have had the WORST EXPERIENCE with the same employee. The first time I went in and needed to look up a color I had used in my house. I was thinking since I put my paint on my account it should be no problem- especially since I had the date in my phone of when I painted. The guy I worked with was so incompetent. With the specific date given, he started to name off paints from 2 years later. I told him and he acted like a dude who had smoked too much pot- like he didn't give a damn and a bit of blame to me for no reason. I thought I came in thinking 'this is a breeze. We'll figure this out in no time and I'll have the help I need.' Nope. He made it not only challenging but also like I was asking him to solve the unsolvable puzzle. He made me feel like the first person in the world to have this issue and I felt badly for it! Eventually he named a name and I was in such a confused and beaten down headspace by then, I said sure. So he asked someone to mix the paint. As it was mixing I thought 'that name doesn't sound like a white....maybe we should check...' So I asked him to please point out the color they were mixing and it was a grey blue! Nothing at all white!!! I told him that wasn't it at all and he tried to guilt me by saying 'we'll have to eat the cost of the mixed paint!' If I had a customer come in not sure of a color, I would do my due diligence to make sure we had the right color before mixing one! In no way was that my mess up. He didn't do his job. From this I learned he works Sunday's and Mondays. I needed ceiling white for my painters who were coming. I specifically went to MILL CREEK to get the paint on Sunday so I didn't have to deal with him. I got 2 gallons for $57.30. My painters on Monday needed one more gallon so I reluctantly went to the Edmonds one. The same guy was there. I told him point blank with a photo of the top of the paint can what I needed, and he tried to tell me I would be $90!!?!!!?!? (Not to mention, once again, he said some nonsense about it being super difficult to come by and it may be a problem....blah blah) I told him that was ridiculous based on me buying it 24 hours earlier. Eventually the manager got involved and while I was appreciative, he didn't seem to validate my anger and frustration at all. When I got home I asked my painter who has been in the business for years and he was SHOCKED at someone quoting me $90 for one gallon of ceiling white! I am highly concerned that this employee and/or store is doing some shady stuff. Maybe someone is pocketing the money- I dunno. But never have I had such a bad experience and unfair pricing of paint. Don't go here!
