I had some problems with wire transfers but these folks saved the day in a major way.I feel like they went above and beyond to find a solution to my problems and execute them despite technical problems. I commend them for their efforts going above and beyond what I expected.Happy client.Thanks again Kathy!

Why can't businesses like this publish the direct phone number for the branch? Having to call an 800 # and waiting in phone tree hell just for them to transfer the call after 20 minutes in NOT customer service!I decided to close my accounts. I opened them way back when the bank of Edmonds was established, kept them with the change to Bank of Wa & even with the buyout by SCU for some time. Not any longer. Lousy service has its consequences!

Nice location, friendly staff, ease of transaction, what's not to like? Alas, I did not win the contest for $25 grand, but there will be other contests. Perhaps I'll get a consolation prize for a friendly review. :)

They said they wouldn't be able to find my loan without the account number. I've never received any paperwork with a full account number on it and other branches have had zero issues looking it up in the system with just my name.

I like Sound Credit, it's just the Edmonds location is full of people that doesn't know what they are doing. They also lack diversity, as some of the workers there seems racist. From my honest experience, the Edmonds branch screwed up my account 5x ! I go to other branches (in nicer areas) and they are top notch! But the Edmonds branch seems to only cater to white crowds and not any of the working class. It's a shame on how boxheads cannot do their job, nor think outside of the box. It's the worst experience I've ever had. In fact it's the only branch that screwed up my account 5x, that the other branches and customer service had to fix it and also had to apologize for the Edmonds branch's incompetent workers. Edmonds branch service lacks and they should be reported to WA state for discrimination.

The Edmonds branch of Sound Credit Union is what community banking should be. The staff there are attentive, helpful and genuine. My business banking has never been in better hands because when I need help with something special, they are right there and come through with extra effort and kindness like an old friend. They are the opposite of corporate indifference, they care and they get it done.

I was already getting ready to leave Bank of Washington's Edmonds branch. I work long hours and every time I went to make a deposit in the cash machine, it was out of order. They had really low limits on my debit card so when I was travelling or trying to make a purchase, my card would be declined. At least I was able to call a local number and talk to someone at the branch. Now that they are Sound Credit Union, forget about talking to a live person, let alone someone at your branch. Trying to talk to someone on the phone about my account number working with what routing number has been impossible. I am closing my Sound Credit Union account and moving my money to BECU.

Wondering how many BOW/SCU customers are SOL this weekend. We've all received our new cards from this BS merger, with this number to activate them: 1.855.477.1141. Which is disconnected. Going to a real bank ASAP. After I make this as public as possible. These people are sleepwalking through their job. I think the last time I dealt with a bank this incompetent was in Iceland, and that was just because of the language barrier.
