When a doctor doesn't let you go back with your kid, not even on the first visit to build a relationship, you have to wonder, "How are they treating my kid if they are not allowing to be there during the exam." I could understand if I had already went with her on the first visit. When I mentioned that I should be able to atleast be there for the first visit. They replied, "You can go ahead and try to get into another vet." It almost felt like they were saying, "You're not going to find anything better here." They have cheap prices but won't let you see what they are doing. Anyone who loves their kids would never allow this just to get a better deal. They may be nice to your face, but that doesn't mean they are doing what's right by your kids. Especially, when they are so set on not letting you back there even for the first visit.

We are so happy we found Critter Care. We were in town visiting family and our pup got a pretty big gash in his leg. They got him immediately, took excellent care of him and the cost was far less than we feared. The staff and vet were helpful and responsive. I highly recommend!

You don't get to go back with your pets and talk to a vet. You talk to the receptionist and no one else. They just take the animals back, and you don't get to ask the vet any questions or talk about any concerns directly with them. I've never in my life been to a vet that operates that way. Our previous vet spent 15 minutes just talking to us about different ways to help our cat lose some weight. They took the time to explain the stages of early life with our new puppy and what we should be doing and what to expect.I obviously have never come back here after my one experience of them bringing my nervous little kitty back without me there to hold him to get his shots. But I drove by the other day and noticed the building is for sale. Hopefully that means they're shut for good.

Both times I've seen Dr. McFadden she has been rather blunt and rude, and seemingly in a hurry to get me in and out.Last time I saw her it was soon after moving back to Ellensburg with my fiancé, about 2 months ago. Our dog had a bad double ear infection. Dr. did the exam and when she came out to tell us what she found she was holding a clump of hair. She told us there was a ton of hair in her inner ear canal and thats why her ears were infected, this was only the tip of the iceberg. She proceeded to blame the groomer (which is me) for the infection and recommended I schedule another appointment to have her put under anesthesia to have the rest of the hair removed. We were sent home with no medications because she wanted the hair plucked first. We went to another clinic for a second opinion and were told she did not in fact have hair packed ears just a lot of yeast. They treated her on the spot and were more than happy to talk to us at length about the process, possible causes, and all other concerns we had. Our pup is doing great now!Won't be going back to Critter Care.

Took our cat in for rutine vax and exam. Asked a few questions they said collect his poop so after his 2nd appointment we did as such. (We was never told our options on what tests to run during the first appointment.) We get to the clinic and give them the poop and they called today with results. Then was like no one forced this test it was optional. No it was not the vet wanted to see what was going on with our cat. After about 20 minutes of a phone call voicing our concerns and how we was not informed of the different tests we got hung up on then the vet calls and I quote " we are firing you!!!! HOW IN THE HELL CAN YOU FIRE A CUSTOMER????? THATS NOT HOW CUSTOMER SERVICE OT MEDICAL SERVICE RUNS!!!!!!!! DONT GO HERE YHIS PLWCE IS SHADY AS HELL

Their negligence and laziness, cost my cat his life. If you love your pets, steer clear of Critter Care.

Absolutely rude and disrespectful. But for the reviews I should have know my lawyer was needed before I even got my pet treated here.

Avoid. Even though no one wears masks, no social distancing, and no hand sanitizer in sight, you're not allowed to go back with your pet because of "covid". You're made to wait in the lobby, and they take your pet back. If things had gone smoothly I wouldn't be writing this review, but they didn't.I took my cat here for over a year. He's never had any issues with any other vet I've taken him to over his 8+ years. On our last trip I was told he was so unmanageable they would have to sedate him for all future visits and that they were unable to examine him (though they still charged an examination fee). Our current vet has no issue with his checkups. Imagine that.My dog didn't seem to have any issues and I recently took him for vaccines. I, again, asked to be allowed to go back with him and was told no. This time I told them that this wasn't a normal policy and made me uncomfortable. Today I received the attached in the mail. They're shady. And when you voice concerns instead of being given honest answers, you're told to not come back. You'll never know how they're treating your pets in the back room. Avoid at all costs. This isn't how honest people behave.

I'll start with I have been taking all my animals here for 7 years about. They are the only place I've brought my cats too. They seem to care for animals amazingly except for my one bad experience.I can't condem their treatment plan. Not for one potentially poor treatment. Even if my cat just couldn't tolerate the meds how could we know? Everyone can make mistakes. My cat received prednisone every day for around 4 ish weeks. I had him seen for pain in his back hips. Within 5 months my cats bloodwork was all in the red. And could not be saved. In all reality nobody expected his bloodwork to be completely bad. It's just how it turned out. I honestly believe he had a bad reaction to the medication. It's not the vets fault. We were just trying to help the animal. This isn't one of thos 1 star reviews because I'm upset. It's down to 3 stars because of recent issues and just high prices. Even though they have far to many 1 star reviews in the last year for a veterinarian office. I've experienced rudeness before but not 1 star worthy. The vet does seem to be unhappy in general though. My incident happened months ago now. I did notice it costs about 40% more to euthanize my animals now compared to just 20 months ago.As of now I feel the new review will reflect my feelings about this isolated incident. I would never blame the vet or her team. They have always been amazing to me and my family (animals). With another couple visits I will definitely raise the review, if the services I receive are improved.I do need to get our stray outside cat that just stays on our back porch shaved. Maybe they'll do that amazing and not cost too much.

They always take great care of our dogs. Checkups, annual dental cleanings, and a couple brushes with the reaper and Critter Care has gotten us through it all.Patient, caring. Less expensive than most other vets in a hundred mile radius.

Critter Care care is a new veterinary clinic/ hospital to us, as is our new dog. So far, so good. We had ours checked out, a shot, and spayed. Friendly staff. The only thing we could recommend is more client - veterinarian interaction. We never saw, met, or spoke to the actual Vet.
