Wonderful time with my mom making soap last night at Purity Soapworks! Lynda Larsen and her employees were so organized and the atmosphere was calm and fun! Can’t wait to try it at home. Makes a great birthday gift or girls night out! Photos: soap curing in boxes.

I took her first soap making class for beginners and learned so much! She had every step well planned and was well prepared for our learning experience! She answered all my questions and is so confident in her skills! When I came home I ordered everything I needed to make my own soap at home. I thank Lynda so much for sharing her knowledge! Her products are VERY HIGH QUALITY! I absolutely love them!

My mother and I recently took a soap making class from Lynda and it was a lovely time! We showed up for class and there was a station for each person with everything we needed. She welcomed all questions, and taught us how to be safe with handling the lye. We were sent off with an entire block of soap to cure at home as well as a packet of information including her own soap recipe she uses.

Saw the place at the farmers market, and both peoplw were super sweet and knowledgeable! Both people also wore masks properly and had hand sanitizer out :)

The olive blossom soap is my favorite scent ever! Even though I moved away I make sure to get some bars from the online store every once in a while. My other fav product is the rose bath oil. If you enjoy luxurious baths it is a must. Lynda is so sweet and really puts care into the products she makes. She is a gem of Ellensburg and absolutely a recommended stop if you're in town.

I was visiting Ellensburg and saw there was a farmers market happening. While walking through I saw the purity soap stand. I use all handmade natural soaps, so was very interested. I picked up a little sample piece to smell, (it was hanging over the edge of the bowl) touching nothing but that specific piece of soap. The owner quickly approached and started off by saying, "So a couple of things! First if all the things are here for you to use and don't be touching the soaps!" I told her I only touched the piece of soap as it was hanging over the edge. She rudely let me know she didn't care.So she wants everyone using the same tongs, but she doesn't want us touching the soap? Where's the safety or logic there? She was extremely rude and I'd never but from here. Thankfully I have someone that I buy my soap from. A little bit of manners would have gone a long way with this lady. I told her I'd leave and spend my money elsewhere. She said "good!" Then she raised her voice to inform me that I should be wearing a mask! I have a medical condition with a note that exempts me. This lady is a piece of work.

The owner of this business is very disrespectful and rude. Was looking at soap and scolded us about how we touched it. And brought up that we need to be wearing a mask. When we are exempt with medical conditions. I would not recommend this business to anyone and would never buy any soap from her.
