Buz did a great job repairing my Square Body speedometer with a NOS mechanism and needle. He also set the new odometer to the correct mileage. The job was done quickly and professionally for less than my other quote too.

I'm not sure what's going on here with all these 5-star reviews, I suggest you take a look at Yelp (which I failed to do). I sent my Mopar Rally gauge cluster in for restoration and waited three years to get it back. When it finally arrived, it was a mess: the odometer fell out, the tach board was never upgraded as promised, the clock was not repaired, none of the gauges worked, and the speedometer label was crooked and poorly applied.
To his credit, the restorer offered to take it back and make it right — but after years of poor communication, delays, and terrible execution, I’m not taking that risk again. Fool me once...
I've requested a refund multiple times and have been completely ignored. Disappointing experience from start to finish. Avoid.

Seattle Speedometer is the best around without question. We use the company exclusively and have no plans on that ever changing. Quality of work is always on point and the fact that he stands behind his work speaks for itself. Buz has never let us down and always goes above and beyond what we ask of him. I am actually packaging another set of 356 gauges to be sent off to him as we speak.

I paid $429 to have a speedometer repaired for my **** Kawasaki ZL900. ************* returned it with the same issue and I messaged to expain I was sending it back. Once *** received it, he said he couldn't duplicate the issue with the needle bouncing. This was surprising since it's a common issue. That was August and the last time I had any communication. No one answers the phone or email. I have lost my money and they stole my guage. My next step is to file a police report.

I sent Buz a garbage heap of a speedometer -- broken in just about every way you can think of -- and he received and rebuilt it on a Monday. It was back in my dash by the end of the week. And working perfectly! Thanks, Buz! Seattle Speedometer is awesome.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Buzz has had my 1951 Ford f1 gauges for wellover a year now and refuses to return my calls and email requests to know why I can't get them back. When he does get back to me (rarely) he always has an excuse that baffles me as this is his business and advertises to be able to repair all gauges. When we first talked he told me he could get my gauges out in 3 days. I really don't know what to do at this point.

This shop and owner (Buz) is exactly what you hope for in a technical specialist. He is personable, he is approachable, he is infinitely knowledgeable about his craft and he is a great guy. I would recommend S S to anyone needing gauge repair, restoration, calibration, or how to connect/install. This is an awesome business and owner. 10 stars!!!!!

Had a 1995 Porsche 911 speedometer/odometer repaired by Buz at Seattle Speedometer. Stand up guy. Responded quickly when part arrived with quote over the phone. After I agreed to price, odometer was repaired and sent back timely. Would recommend that PCA members give Buz a try for your next project.

I sent a Mercruiser Tach in for repair December 2019. after numerous calls and emails I eventually got it back in May 2020. Installed it and it did not work. Advised Seattle Speedometer and was told to send it back which I did. Eventually got it back in October 2020, guess what still did not work. Was told my payment would be refunded, never happened and I am still waiting. During this period I was lied to, threatened with legal action and continuously ignored both by phone and emails. Have reported this to the Better Business Bureau. Use a reputable company like Bob's Speedometer or Kocian Instruments.Well finally some kind of response from Mr. Buz Ras after six months of trying to make contact.Lets check some facts here, I was not paid anything and there were no multiple times that the tach went back and forth. Just twice, because the tach was not repaired in the first place. I returned the tach after it was found to not repaired. In Mr. Ras' email of May 12 2020 responding to tach not working still and I quote "Oh dear, I am sorry to hear that, please send it back and I will be happy to repair anything that it needs free of charge" Mr. Raz makes no mention that it was working when he sent it back to me after sitting on it for five months!Disappointed in a lack of facts, really? what have I not covered given that you know exactly what went on.There is nothing wrong with the boat or it's wiring. Even though I wanted to keep the original tachs, I purchased two Faria tachs brand new and they both work perfectly. The only problem was the tach was not repaired by Seattle Speedometer.Just to show how prompt this guy is at turning his work around, in a July 29, 2020 email and I quote "We'll get it out today, I got it in October.Pretty poor show! This guy has not been honest with me and is singularly lacking integrity in his dealings with me. I want my money back for non completion of the job.Service: General repairs & maintenance
