“Had a crazy experience where a person, whom I was helping to move, accidentally tossed away 6 headrests from a Toyota truck into the outdoor container @ Goodwill in Ellensburg. I was tasked, 16 hours later, to retrieve these, if at all possible. Armed only with a screen shot off the internet, as I had no idea what I was looking for and little hope of finding it, the manager asked me to wait. He returned shortly with all 6 head rests. They were in a truck headed to Seattle and the truck was to leave in 10 minutes. He knew exactly
what I was talking about and he knew that he could not sell this item in his store. Everyone with whom I came into contact that day was pleasant and professional. People who complain about Goodwill need to start their own second hand store. A lot of good things go on in that store. Just MHO. Ellensburg Goodwill is a valuable member of our community.”
“Nice little Habitat store! Like all Habitat for Humanity stores, it's a treasure hunt - you've gotta search for your treasure! Definitely know what you're looking for before you go, or it might be overwhelming. Reasonable prices and decent options if you're willing to give something a second life & a little TLC!”
