Tried ordering fly tying materials a month before a trip I was taking. This was in May. Wanted to order from a small store and their site said materials were in-stock. 3weeks later I emailed and asked about them got a very rude response from Steve. I followed up again in early July and another rude reply from Steve. Claiming he had no idea if they would come in the order or not. I asked how do you sell things you don’t know if you can get? He never answered that question and said my materials arrived. I received them July 16th over two months after ordering.-Very Rude-Sells out of stock items with no noticeOrder from a different place if I could leave negative stars I would.

awful, unfriendly, does not care if you get what you ordered. DO NOT order from this place. I dealt with Steve and he is the worst.

Unbelievably rude. I just called and asked a simple fishing question and was told I don’t know and hung up. Go to Reds fly shop instead!

Trucker here and I always pass by the shop. Excited to pick up some flies and some needed gear. Of course the one time I stop by, it's closed. Right through business hours too which are posted by the door! 9-5 Mon-Fri. It's a Thursday at 3PM and it's closed. Looks like a cool shop with lots of variety from what I can see through the glass door. Will update review when I actually get to go in next time I'm in town.

Nice fly shop. Efficient staff. Arron (sp?) is a very good guide. A patient teacher who knows his stuff. If you're lucky enough to book him, listen up. I'd like to return again.

Service ~ friendly & knowledgeable. Unbelievable in-stock supply of everything to be successful to catch some fish! As a novice to the sport, the gentleman helping me was patient and understanding with my questions.A must visit for fishing gear.

Right off the freeway exit. Drive up to the beautiful giant trout and you immediately get excited. Upon entering ~ joyously overwhelmed with aisles and aisles of gear! The staff at the desk was welcoming and friendly. He knew exactly what I was looking for and they had it in stock. Much more reliable to find what you need than BiMart or Cabela's. Confident the salesman here is most knowledgeable than the big box stores too. Heading over the to canyon now for some blue ribbon!

Very disappointed in this shop. I was very exited to start fly fishing. When I walked in the guy behind the counter was very nice, I told him I was just starting and had a million questions. After walking around the store multiple times looking lost he was still talking to some guy about guide licenses and how they do it in Montana. I left and told him I was sorry he was so busy he couldn't help me.Worked out great though, I went down the street to the evening hatch and Rich was amazing

Hands down this is my favorite fly shop. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and happy to help novice to expert level fishermen. I've scheduled 3 guided trips on the Yakima River over the years and am looking forward to celebrating my 28th wedding anniversary with my wife as she asked for a drift to celebrate. The owner, Steve, treats you like an old friend when you come in and is happy to answer questions, buy supplies or schedule a trip. Matt's AWESOME, he knows the rivers and lakes after guiding them for the past 16 years and makes every trip a memory. He'll "up your game" in fishing but does it in a way that helps any level of fishing experience. I also hear that Aaron is a legend on the waters and maybe one day I can fish with him too but Matt's helped my family, friends and myself land more fish than I can remember while learning something new every time. Thanks WB for being an advocate for the sport and the central Washington community. - Jason

I don’t think there could be a better guide of the upper Yakima River than Aron. I brought a newbie fly fisher with me and Aron was able to deliver the perfect amount of instruction to improve my friend’s technique, with a chill attitude, and put us into many fish. We put in at Bristol and fished dry-droppers most of the day. We landed a s##t load of fishAron is not a “meet you at my truck” casual guide. He has fished this section of the river his whole life. He passes fishy looking water to me (historically unproductive in his experience ) and stops at spots he knows produce fish. I would have drifted on but when we stopped and worked a piece of water that he knows, we always got hits. Superb local knowledge. Superb rowing skills. His own fly patterns were deadly. He kept us untangled very quickly, with very little delay when we lost a dropper or caught a snagI’ve fished the upper River many times but my day with Aron was so rewarding. This guy knows every seam, riffle, and holding spot for fish in this section. And my newcomer friend caught a bunch of fish. All on dry-dropper rigs. Aron also helped me with great tips about my own presentation. They worked. No surprise! If you can book Aron, you will have a great, educational day on the upper Yak!
