I’ve dealt with him a few times, long story short he’s a grumpy old guy who talks to you like you’re stupid. The rates are higher than other places for same or lesser quality equipment. Sometimes he’s late in the mornings which is understandable but then when you ask for any flexibility from him he has no empathy or understanding. I hate talking bad about small businesses but if you want to save yourself the hassle I’d recommend renting elsewhere.

We go here all the time, like once a week, sometimes twice, to fill up our propane containers... This place is the cheapest for getting propane in town. Plus Cal is a good guy, runs a good business, Even lives next door, so we should all support this great local honest businessman. I don't think you'll meet anyone that says any different.

He’s a Grouchy Guy. Who promises ya the Equipment. I call to pick it up. It’s rented out again. Says I’ll call ya. He don’t. I call to pick it up and he’s yelling at me. Told me I’m not the only guy in town?? Crazy.

Rented a main line snake for my 3" drain pipe. Got it home tried it the handle was bent so it was hard to turn. Had to hold machine down with one hand while trying to turn handle. Couldn't feed and turn at the same time. Took it back about 45 min. He said yes someone must have bent the handle. Still charged me $30. Kind of got the feeling he didn't think I knew what I was doing.

knowledgeable guy runs the place. Rented a larger manual sewer snake that was defective. Handle was bent and I could hardly crank it. Took it back 40 min. later showed him the problem. Said the handle needs to be straightened. Did think about trying that but if the handle broke I would be liable for the whole machine. Expressed my disappointment that he didn't at least make an adjustment. $30 for a piece of equipment that didn't work properly
