This is a great place to visit, especially with kids. You can learn about watersheds, riparian zones and indigenous plant life. The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. Beautiful elevated walk through the forest. You feel like you're in the middle of the woods. It's a great escape from the concrete jungle. I suggest becoming a member and visiting all year to see the changes.

Delightful, secluded nature walk... well worth investing in a membership to enjoy the serene trail loop.

I have visited twice with opposite experiences in terms of enjoyment. After going solo as an adult I was so pleased I was excited to bring my group of 8 and 9 year old as an educational experience. While the physical location itself is interesting, it doesn't compare to an actual hike so I thought it would be great for kids. Unfortunately, the person running the entrance was very rude to the students I brought along with me on my second trip. When we arrived I realized we didn't have masks which I knew he preferred so I mentioned to him we would be happy to put some on. He told me to go get some. I told him I didn't have any with me and he told me that if he were me he wouldn't allow kids to be together without masks. I told him we would be happy to enter through the gate as I did last time as to avoid the indoor area altogether. He told me that was not possible and they all had to come in to check in. I had my kids come in and line up at the POS area to get masks. He was very rude while giving us masks and told me I better be careful and keep an eye on the kids so they didn't fall off. There was no check-in process to note. The kids are 8, 8, 8, and 9 so I thought he was joking and said not to worry they were big kids. He said he didn't care.Although he was being rude we had paid and planned to come here and the kids were excited, so I figured we might as well go through with it. He walked with us which was not my experience the first time and interrupted the kids' conversations with one another to correct them in their observations and told them they should pay attention so they could learn in a not rude but off-putting manner. After seeing a crawfish one of my students pointed and the man running the place told my student he had ruined the whole exhibit because the crawfish would never come back. I said we would like to continue the walk alone and he left. Upon returning to the gift shop (which is where he asked us to go), we put the masks back on. The man was not there and the door to leave had been locked. I assumed he was nearby, so I asked my kiddos to wait by the door and when he came in I asked if I could unlock the door or if he would like us to exit somewhere else (since we had the last slot of the day I thought it might have been alarmed). He scoffed audibly and started to tell us we better start bringing masks with us if we ever wanted to come back. We were all wearing the masks he gave us when we entered. One of my kids cried and I decided to unlock the door and leave without permission.I now deeply regret buying a membership on my first visit. I apologized to the children's parents for the workers' effect on the kids and I will not return.

We love it at Adopt A Stream. We joined over two weeks ago and have visited 5 times. We both do photography and three pictures of mine have been featured on KOMO4 news weather segments. It wonderful place but beyond all that the work they do for the Western Washington Watersheds is super important and very few groups are doing it. Enjoy the beauty and consider donating to this wonderful organization. Aaron Plotkin & Alicia Rice

Nice park, however I would like to see all of it open free to the schools. I thought it was sadd there was part closed off that was a pay area $10 -15 per person to get in. During the school year it should allow students free access. Would be a great way to support our youth and community.

A perfect restored natural oasis in the midst of the busy and over developed I-5 corridor! The elevated walkway is designed to provide access to all. The Nature Store is a great source for educational gifts.

A hidden gem. Always so wonderful to wander the boardwalk amongst native plants and watch the forest change with the seasons. Very stroller/wheelchair friendly, awesome nature store full of goodies. We love their Christmas tree program in the fall. We are annual members and it pays for itself very quickly. Go and support!

Absolutely lovely and worth the admission. We found this by chance and were enchanted with the boardwalk and the scenery. The Adopt a Stream employees were knowledgeable and extremely friendly, and there’s a cute little gift shop at the end. Don’t sleep on this place!
