First time here and called last minute to see if she had any availability for a haircut. Alexandra was very welcoming and insightful about my haircut. She helped me figure out answers to questions I didn't know I should ask for an overall better experience. Definitely a great place to get some work done if you need it

A 15 minute max haircut repair took an hour and a half. It took the owner at least a half hour just to find her clippers and other tools. The other hour was filled with abnormal interactions with a random pedestrian claiming to be a decade old customer as well as following my son and his mom out of the salon while I was still in the chair with the apron on. The current state of the salon was mess; it was dusty, had dying plants, and nothing was organized. The shop looked like it was under maintenance and she did state she was trying to reopen the salon. My intuition told me that she, the owner, was not sober based on various mannerisms and interactions we were having. My entire time there I felt anxious as if my hair would be in a worse state than I arrived in.However, despite the long completion time, the messy establishment, and very off the wall interactions; the owner was pleasant and I could tell she had a lot of knowledge about hair.Service: Haircut

I have been stationed here for about a year now. I have walked by the place many times because I live close and have a route that I take my dog on. my yorkie used the bathroom and I picked it up. I look up from picking up the p*** and there is a woman in the curtain of the establishment staring at me. she comes out of the shop and starts ranting about how dogs shouldn't p*** on the sidewalk and that it was rude of me to let him.....LIKE WHAT!?! She proceeded to call it her sidewalk, curse, and call me f-ing weird! I can't believe I ever picked Everett, WA to live. i am dreaming of the day I am stationed elsewhere because of people like her. P.S. She didn't have a shirt on....i guess she was eager to yell at me.........?

I wish I sent this sooner, but it seems everyone has had the same problem I have. Absolutely rude customer service, appalling and inappropriate work environment, disturbing and uncomfortable outbursts from the owner(Not just towards me, but also public outside the shop), and completely unreasonable and unruly. Would never recommend this place to absolutely anyone! Not even people I wish the worst on!

This place is so awful that if it was considered food I wouldnt even give it to the libtards voting for Sleepy Joe! I decided to give the little lady a chance at cutting my hair, but all I got was a whining woman, always complaining about her life. If she didnt look like such a hag she wouldve been with a hard working man. A story for the fellas.

She is really down to earth. She makes you feel like you have known her forever and its awsome. Not to mention I had a full foil and it wasn't gonna be easy cause I messed my hair up , but she made it beautiful no joke and I get compliments on it all the time!! thanks!

I walked in to the salon and she was cutting a gentleman's hair, she didn't even acknowledge me so about 10 minutes in I asked her if she could fix my hair as I had done an at home color and it was brassy. She looked me up and down and said "the question is not whether I can fix your hair, the question is how much money do you have to spend?" I told her I would spend whatever I the cost as long as it was reasonable. She said a hundred bucks. I said that sounded fine can I book an appointment. Then she tells me its going to be one hundred fifty dollars because she has to do a hair cut also. I told her I really don't need a haircut yet but what the heck I would get a trim to freshen it up. She says a trim is the same price as a haircut it will still be one hundred and fifty dollars. I got the feeling that this person wanted me to PROVE I could pay for it. So we book an appointment for the following day and I mentioned that I live in a beautiful apartment just a few doors down. She says she knows quite a few people from My building, she then mentions 4 different people, all of which I know and 3of which are close friends. Even though I told her they were friends she started talking trash about them. Not run of the mill rumor type trash but degrading disgusting trash. She was being vulgar and the man getting his haircut looked horrified. I excused myself and left. The next morning I called and said "this is tawny, your 3:00 appointment, I'm cancelling my appointment" I hung up and she called me back yelling again I told her who I was and to cancel my appointment. She called me back 2 or 3 more times until I had to BLOCK her. By far the strangest experience at a salon ever. Strangest experience with another HUMAN ever.

I've been meaning to get this up for a while. But you know, life happens. I was in Everett for work and was looking pretty shaggy. Found Alex by from an "around me" search. Checked out her page. I've been doing my best to support real people. If I wanted pandering and pampering I'd visit some chain operation. Alex is pretty rad. She's owned her business for years. She's got three kids. She's out hustling to make it work. I have respect for someone out there literally doing work. She was really cool. And you can tell right off the bat she's a no nonsense person. She gives no s*** but also takes no s**** That's rare these days. Got the cut. It was a simple cut so when I do get my ears lowered it becomes about the overall experience. Hell, I've cut my own hair before. It's not a difficult cut. I was happy with the cut and happy with my experience there. A real person doing a service. That means tipping is standard. Go here. Patronize businesses like hers. In the days of amazon and Walmart small business support is so critical. Or sooner than later everyone will be using a fuckin flowbee and that's some B******** TLDR: Alex rules. Alex cuts a solid cut. Give respect means get respect. Oh, TIP HEAVILY. Like a scrotum there it is in a nutshell.

It is a pandemic.. not disappearing..No mask, refused to wear one. Alexandra believes it is her "right" as pvt bus. owner not to wear or require of customers; flouts Safe Start guidelines. They do apply to you ms. despite your spite for Gov. Inslee and what's right. No stylist's arms are 6 ft long..Offered to compensate for trouble as I left she berates me as " immature," yells at me on sidewalk that credit rating and bank account are better than mine.. really Alexandra..At $45/ haircut traffic likely not too heavy. Dangerous place still imo. Be Best A..

We love Alexandra! Super personable, she tells you what you need to do for upkeep before doing anything to your hair. I got my hair colored a cool-toned red and she told me that it would definitely need re-colored each time due to fading, etc.
