My friend from Ethiopia went in to get a item for her knee. The lady was extremely rude to her and told her to never come back again and to get out of her store. I really feel this was a race related incident, I have called and nobody has called us back to apologize, we are now filing a complaint with the Washington State human Rights commission.

I highly recommend Althea's footwear, excellent staff, very helpful and very professional. I had plantar fasciitis really bad, my VA Dr. sent over an Rx to Althea's, and after wearing my Hokas for 4 days, my plantar fasciitis has not come back!! Thank you, Althea!!

I was hesitant at first, and boy was I wrong!! The time the associate took to make sure my shoes were, the right shoes was awesome!!! You may spend a little more. I just look at it as it's at least a years worth of shoe if not more, take 12 months into what you paid, then divide it by 365 days and hey they aren't that expensive after all.. I love my shoes. Thank you so much Althea's!!!!

Awesome experience! Very knowledgeable & friendly staff! Happily helped by billing Medicare and providing a professional diabetic fitting including custom inserts! Mom is thrilled & loves her shoes! Good store, nice people, terrible logistics. I ordered shoes Nov 10, paid in full, they said they'd order them, would be a couple of weeks. I called them a couple of weeks later, they hadn't arrived, they assured me they'd contact me when they did. Today, Dec 21, I called them, they seemed surprised, then checked and said they got them a week ago. Canceled my order, then had to call again to remind them they needed to credit my card. Very poor service with no attempt at recovery. Won't be shopping there again.

Awful experience with this provider of orthotics. Mis-information. Run-arounds. Condescending attitude. Just know that even though it may seem like you do not have options on where to get a pair of orthotics made in the Everett area. You do.
