Laura, the owner, likes to threaten you. She also likes to tell the recovery team people are stealing the truck. I have documentations that show she allowed me to keep the truck longer then my contract, never asked me to renew the contract, then accuses me of stealing. She also tells the recovery team we have not spoken.We spoke on April 8th at 1:23pm, recovery team called me from a Google voice number @ 1:42pm, not even a budget truck rental phone number, threatening to have me arrested and stating I have not spoken to Laura, the owner. Then Holly, (the budget recovery representative) decided to look up my family members and threaten to harassing them because Laura wants to lie.Once I showed the recovery team my call log, they left me alone.

It's the same story for a lot of reviews here, which goes like this: truck reservation made, followed by said truck not being available when we go to pick up.It doesn't end there.The woman who was at the desk was suffering from lack of compassion and a decent eye brow pencil.She told me the truck I reserved was not available. I asked "How is that? I just reserved it this morning."She said "the part for the truck didn't come in this morning. I have a 26' available."I was taking a load to the dump and did not need or have the driveway for a 26' truck.I asked "why didn't someone call me and let me know?"She said "We don't have a phone."(COME ON, LADY ?)I said "well that sounds unsafe."She goes "yeah, it is unsafe, but at least it's not ringing off the hook all day."Yeah, who needs a phone to communicate with paying customers? Not Budget on Evergreen!This woman did not offer me a solution. She did not look up any trucks in the area or offer an apology.I called Budget customer service once I was in the car, but they didn't offer a great solution either.Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere, like the Storage place behind Walgreen's off 112th. I stopped there after this awful experience, was helped immediately and able to grab a truck for the afternoon with ease.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had with any type of company. It's not listed anywhere, but there's a $150 hold they place on your account on pick up. I was told this hold would be released upon payment. This was the second lie. It takes 5-7 BUSINESS days for it to be returned. I called customer support who could only offer apologies after I explained this would buying food to stay alive difficult. I would of rated them 0 stars if it allowed me.

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had renting a moving truck. I reserved online a 26' truck for a one way trip then only once I had already paid and signed the contract and done the inspection did they realize they didn't want to rent a 26' truck for a one way trip, so I had to either return the truck to Everett or rent a 16' truck. So I switched to a 16' truck and they couldn't refund me the difference between the two until after I had returned the truck. So I called their customer service once the truck had been returned to get a refund and spent over 2 hours on the phone, the first agent disconnected on me in the middle of the call, the second one refused to refund me the difference between the trucks ($81 and taxes) and instead offered me $30 after a 15 minute hold, then $50 after another 15 minute hold, then $51 after a 25 minute hold, and eventually agreed to refund $81 but refused to refund the taxes. If you deal with budget truck rental then you better hope they don't pull the rug out from under you because you'll have to spend hours trying to get a simple refund for a mistake made on their end.

Would give zero stars if I could. Reserved a truck days in advance to pick up some building material, showed up to pickup said truck and was told they did not have it. Was also told I would receive a call from the fleet manager to figure out getting me a truck, and was never called. U-Haul down the road was super helpful and got me a truck without even a reservation. I would avoid this place like the plague!

Just had to swing by on July 4th, they stayed open past their early release time to make sure we were taken care of. Would have been a disaster if not for their incredible customer service.

Even if you reserve something don't trust them. There are 5 moving vans sitting in the parking lot but they won't let me have one because they are all under contract. Why let me reserve when I can't get it?!?

2 people at the counter getting paid with a long line but only 1 person actually working. The other person doesn’t even greet anyone, just sits there getting paid. They give us this insurance form to fill out when we get there, but didn’t mention anything online about the form, could’ve saved us 30 mins calling our insurance company. Oh yeah, and like everyone else said, they didn’t have the truck we made a reservation for. Had to take a different one.

I had the WORST experience with this place. The people here are so dense it’s like talking to a brick wall. I’m a senior and have no time to be rude to people. So, I have no idea why the staff was rude. The staff was running around not knowing where my truck was. Which was weird because we reserved it. The lady sternly said no we don’t have it and we can’t do anything about it. Then another lady chimes in and says a lot of people are moving out of Washington right now. Well with people like the ones at this location it makes a lot of sense why. Absolute joke coming here. At least I have a souvenir of my confirmation email reserving my truck. That I was told doesn’t matter. Don’t come here, literally just don’t. Honestly, don’t.

Lora was very nice and helpful. Would rent from here again. The location is actually a bit north from where Google maps says it is. My only complaint is they don't give out a padlock with the truck

ABYSMAL SERVICE - I usually do not write negative reviews, as I do my best to be a patient and understanding customer. But I cannot in good conscience allow other customers to waste their time and money here. I reserved a cargo van an entire MONTH ahead of my move and called the day prior to confirm there was a vehicle ready and available for me upon arrival. The young lady I spoke to was very nice and accommodating. She placed me on hold to check and confirmed with me live over the phone my reservation was set. When I show up the next day to pick up the van, it wasn't there! I was "served" by an older woman who was very flat and, honestly, kind of rude about the situation. She simply shrugged and told me they tried to call and notify me (I never received a call) and that cargo vans are hard to reserve this time of year (which is why I made the reservation a month in advance). When asked if anything would be available the next day, she offered a small pick-up truck but no other solutions. No empathy. No nothing. So I left in a hurry to make different arrangements at the last minute, costing me hundreds. Now it's the end of July and I discovered that I was CHARGED $75 for a NO SHOW FEE because I didn't cancel the reservation. I had to invoke my Inner Karen and bully them out of my refund. Why should I have to cancel a reservation that they never fulfilled, especially if it was handled in person? Why did that lady NOT CANCEL THE RESERVATION? This is one of the worst experiences I've had in a long time. I understand things happen, but this Budget location handled things terribly. I will never use them again, for moving trucks, rental cars, not a damn thing. I suggest y'all do the same. Stay far, far, FAR away from this location. Absolute trash.

Was a bit concerned with all the negative reviews. But made a reservation several weeks ahead. Arrived at location and they said my rental was not available. No communication was made or other arrangements to correct their issue. Would not recommend the Everett location.
