Can't speak for the company as a whole - But if you're unlucky enough to get put with Nicky Balliet or her team - I would advise working with someone else. Main issue - Contractual negligence on their end. They also ignored several emails and phone calls and were generally unable/unwilling to do their job. Months later they are now trying to somewhat rectify their missteps. Look elsewhere.

They seemed fine when we closed on the purchase of our home so we called when we needed a current title report to record with the county for some building permits. They stated getting a printed title report would be a 7-10 day wait and cost over $350 after tax. The officer I spoke with talked over me in a condescending sing-song, high pitched voice. I got the clear message they do not like to fulfill these requests. The reason I gave one star is simply because she told me they are not the only option for this and we could use another company. Which was helpful as we were able to get what we needed in a one day turn around at less than half the price with a different title company. We were happy to support a smaller local company who was genuinely helpful and clearly wanted the business.

This company confused mine and my ex-husband's marital status and also combined our payout which meant at this point that I am out about $2,250 after paying an exorbitant list of fees and I still don't have the correction made that I need to have made with the note service evergreen note service and that one's a hassle too

Terrible experience with Chicago Title. I would give zero stars if i could. Everything from poor communication to the wire being delayed close to a week, due to them submitting incorrect banking information. Even the notarized wire did nothing,they still screwed it up. They submitted my wire routing to a bank when my account was with a credit union!! Please do not use this company, save yourself the stress and go anywhere but here.
