Wonderful facility, great people that work there, and a caring kids club. Lockers rooms could use more attention in the area of cleanliness and the life guards could be more kind and pro active. But overall, a great experience!

Facility is always clean, the staff are great, always helpful and enthusiastic. The programs for Seniors are created to keep mind and body healthy and active with many different levels to pick and challenge yourself from. I'm a better person for having joined!

My wife and I work out here regularly. It would be four stars if the gym area wasn't jam packed so often. Some days there are little kids running around, playing with/on the equipment. All the time, people hog machines or weights and benches, and look at you like you're from Mars when you ask if you can work in. There is one pair of 25 lb. dumbbells, so getting ahold of them is like winning the lottery. On the plus side, the views from the gym windows are awesome, and there is always plenty of parking. But for working out, the Marysville branch seems superior.

Been going to the Everett ymca for the past 4 years and have generally had a good experience. About 6 months ago the lockers were broken into and my personal belongings were stolen. There was no apology no offer to help replace my stuff or anything. So I started carrying my gym bag with me from machine to machine to prevent another robbery. Now I'm being forced to lock up my belongings again and when I asked the ymca employee if they could guarantee that my stuff was safe she said NO! I already had to spend hundreds of dollars to replace stolen items and now have to worry about it again?!? The ymca doesn't care about its members or there safety obviously! Very disappointing

It was good a couple months ago but things started to go downhill the swim instructors need to go over more training one of them shouldn’t even be near kids.

The place is nice but honestly felt singled out for me being the only one a supposed off the clock employee telling me I can’t have my bag out on the work out floor due to some of the equipment being stolen and went up to no one else with gym bags and backpacks out next to them. For context I’m enlisted and obviously not of the lighter skin complexion and that rule apparently didn’t apply to the lighter complexion people.

Staff member, Gary is the best. He says hello and goodbye to everyone who comes by the main desk. It was my first time and he made me feel so welcome. I'd come again just for him. ?

My husband, 3 year old son and I have been coming to the Everett family YMCA for almost a year.Pros:-Rookie sports-Swim lessons-Group exercise classes-Kids Zone-Kids park right outside of the facility-Great exercise facilities for people of all ages-Plenty of parking-Splash zoneCons:-Facility closes at 5pm on the weekends.-Kids Zone is not available on Sundays.-The pool and the changing rooms are very cold! My son starts shivering after ~ 15 minutes in the pool and has a hard time getting through the 30 minute swimming lesson because he is too cold.-Open swim is not available after the swim lessons. It only opens in the afternoon, so we have to go home for nap time and then return to the YMCA later in the day if we want to have our son participate in open swim time. We come on Saturdays, so I am not sure if it is different during the week.-Group swim lessons are scheduled back to back, so there are way too many people in the changing rooms at the same time.Overall, our experience has been positive, but there are some inconveniences/room for improvement. We have not had any issues with the staff, as others seem to have had. Everyone has been friendly and helpful.

Rude employees, cancelled my kid membership because there is no communication or respect towards the member here. Swimming instructor is atrocious rude with kids, not supposed to be near or teaching kids.

This YMCA location is hands down the best and most family friendly facility we've ever been to. We have a family membership, and everyone loved it. My 5 year old loves the childcare center, and enjoys the kids swimming area. My two teenage boys love the teen center, pool, and the gym. I frequent the gym a few days per week. I'm impressed with how clean they keep the equipment and entire gym area, including the bathrooms! Very friendly and helpful staff. Very well worth the membership cost!

I was going to another gym for years and loved it, but decided to go to the the Y to switch it up. I was truly blown away from the machines, much better and cleaner than PF a bit less equipment, but there us also a lot less people there too which is a plus. What got me the most is the the friendly staff and gym members who ate for the most part very inviting to the groups that I attend, Wednesday Core and Friday Bootcamp they are both rough, kicks your can but you feel awesome after and a bit sore, but in a good way. On my my days I don't do groups I do the weights and the cardio machines are awesome where it gives you virtual trophies for accomplishments which motivates you to go further. The pools are also a plus but there are a lot of kids in there so I stay away from that not to mention it's always too crowded. The cost is a bit high(about $60 a month) but is worth it if you can afford it. ... over all this is my new favorite gym and very clean with friendly staff

Its a great place to swim but the womans locker room smells like mold. I also saw what looks like black mold on the ceiling of the showers.

I belong to both YMCA and LA Fitness. Both have their plus's and minus's. The Y often has a lot of kids all over the place. Not that I don't like kids, but I'm a senior and kind of like a quiet workout. And the pool...can't hardly get in it during the summer! BUT love the sauna, steam and hot tub. Also, it's a small think but I love getting a free cup of coffee on my way out. It always tastes soooo good! LA Fitness has more weight machines, but a much smaller pool and their hot tub is out of service as much as it's in service. Also, it's not very clean. Lots of mold in the pool are which always gives me cause...like should I really be here? Also like the locker area at LA better than the Y. Much roomier. So I go to both depending on the day of the week and time of the day.

Great YMCA, but there is one thing missing labeling on or near it to let customers know how many laps = a mile. This would be very helpful.
