Brought my vehicle in for a rattling noise that was occuring when starting cold. It was a real hard issue to diagnose since it only happens in the mornings and this is partially why I did not give them 1 star.
The first fix was to replace the starter which seemed logical to me since the noise only happens when starting the car. My understanding was that they were not able to recreate the issue but this was the best course of action to fix the rattle. When I went to pick it up the car made the noise I was talking about in front of one of the receptionist so I left the car with them to further diagnose.
Understandably, it took a couple days for them to get back to working on the car as they had other vehicles to work on. The second diagnostic seemed more thorough and they claimed that I needed a new ECU.
Total for the repair was close to $4500, starter, ECU, transmission fluid and some other general maintenance items. I was also informed, that they noticed a rattle when starting that seems to be the timing chain, another $3000 if I want to fix it. This seem strange as the rattle is primarily what I brought the car in for.
Next morning after I had picked the car up I go to start it and it's making the exact same noise and it seems to be making the noise more often and louder. So not only did I spend $4500 for a repair that didn't fix my issue but my car seems to be running worse than before.
After typing out this review I realize I cant in good conscience give them more than 1 star... I truly feel that I was scammed and cannot recommend them to service someone else's vehicle.

Long time customer but will never go back after this last experience! Charged me $2000 for a fuel pump replacement, coolant service and tow. Still was not working and then tried to charge me another $1500 for a TIPM because of now a bad fuel relay that wasn’t diagnosed the first time. Declined service and had it towed away from there. My neighbor was able to help. Get a part he ordered online for $119. Had it installed in 7 minutes and now my van runs great. I feel this shop took advantage of me and the customer service was less than to be desired.

Everybody there is really nice, very inviting. They even remembered my name, which I thought was really crazy. But I really appreciate that. When I first did my business here at one point I received something from the mail, I got a scratch card. I didn't win anything but I thought that was still pretty neat. I also like the complementary shuttle service, you'll have to be a local to be able to utilize the shuttle service. It's not a bus but it's somebody's personal vehicle, like an uber

When I had a jetta, this was my mechanic shop! They were AMAZING TO ME! ANNNND TOLD THE TRUTH! I was told by the VW dealer that my car frame was messed up and all these issues so when I came here I told them all about it but was confused on how there was frame damage when the car hasn't been hit or anything. BUT this place did a fill inspection and confirmed that my car's frame was fine. They fixed all the minor issues and explained to me in full detail what all they did, how I can fix or prevent future issues and everything else. This place was amazing and made me feel way better after being so open with me. Their communication skills are fantastic AND ALSO! Everything was affordable!! The dealership wanted to charge me $700 plus for the repairs. At this shop, $125. WOW! if you have a German car, I HIGHLY recommend this shop!

My first experience with M&N was positive. The problems with my 1997 Ford were diagnosed and fixed. Christina Moore managed what was happening, even the installation of two new tires at Best Tires. Everyone was courteous and obviously the repairs were first rate. I will not hesitate to use M&N Absolute Auto Repair in the future. I continue to experience quality service from M&N. In my opinion there no better company for car repairs and maintenance.

If you need your vehicle inspected before purchasing, these are the guys you're looking for. They will inspect everything top to bottom, in and out, and give it to you straight. I've had the pleasure using them twice and if I ever consider getting another vehicle, they'll be on my speed dial. Thank you for your expertise!

Pretty crappy inspection missed the fact that there was a bolt that was incredibly loose on the control arm that was clanking around and tried getting me to pay for an engine mount inspection. Pretty ridiculously overpriced labor fees, but they are pretty nice and did confirm my rotors were warped.

I came across this shop while searching for a mechanic for my mother in law. I liked the communication of this shop so much I actually brought my truck here after purchasing it. After calling many dealers in the area and getting left on voicemail with no return calls, I appreciated that Sandy and Michelle would always pick up when I called.
I also got to talk to some of the mechanics after my repair and they answered a few of my concerns as well. Overall very impressed with this shop and will be coming back! Plus, military discount.

Michelle and Sandy were absolutely amazing! I have a Kia, and have always gone to Kia of Everett for service, especially during the warranty period. But they got bought out a couple years back and have gone seriously downhill.
I needed to swap out a fog light, and Kia's assemblies can be cumbersome. M&N's quote was less than a third of the dealership's. In addition, they did a full initial inspection, at no extra cost.
We desperately need to ensure mom & pop places like M&N keep going, and that we have access to honest mechanics in the Everett area. I will be going to this place alone moving forward, and will ask that my wife do the same for her vehicle.
I should also mention that they do EVERYTHING here, and have a laundry list of awards on their walls!
