I made this first time home buyer's experience an amazing one. The home buying process is terrifying, never more so than in this current market. Prices keep soaring, people are waiving inspections, and then you fall in love with your dream house and would feel wrecked if it slipped through your fingers. Cue Dave and his team at NAF. This guy went so far above and beyond to help us secure our dream house. From helping us with our approval to spending time on the phone with the sellers to assure them we were solid if they accepted our offer . . . it is DAVE we credit with the sellers choosing us to buy their house. From that point on, Dave was there at every turn to be sure there wasn't even the smallest hiccup. It was smooth sailing, and he even entertained a phone call when my husband and I couldn't agree on an element of our financing that had us hugging it out when we hung up. Can you credit a mortgage lender with possibly saving your marriage? I'll let you be the judge on that! Truly, even our dumbest questions went well received and answered. Even on a weekend evening! I'm not sure when he sleeps, certainly not while he was on the job for us. He was readily available at every step. The guy was a dream to work with and we are now settled in our forever home. Eternally grateful, and will recommend for the rest of our lives. Thank you!

What can I say about NAF that isn’t obvious from the first interactions with this team? If you call, you’ll notice their friendly staff who is beyond responsive. That’s not really why you’re reading reviews though…you want to know what kind of people make up NAF. Simple- Dave assembled a team of caring professionals who are knowledgeable in their craft and are able to break down these complicated topics into bite size pieces. They were with us every step of the way and never failed to pick up the phone or respond to a text.You might shop around and find a slightly better financial setup, but you open yourself to all sorts of unforeseen things. NAF will help you close on time and without any last minute hidden fees.

As a human experience professional, in a people centric business it is crucial every interaction is built upon human beings caring for other human beings. Unfortunately, this was not my experience. What I did experience was inconsistency, lack of professionalism and concern for its customers.Pouyan was my first touch point and was responsive, respectful, kind and highly effective with communicating the process and next steps. As soon as I was handed off to the loan processor Kerissa, it all went down hill from there. I went from being well informed to having to ask repeatedly where we were in the process. “Will contact in 10-14 days” turned into 21 days. When I was finally contacted I was asked about whether or not I would like to include May’s current mortgage payment into the loan. May 2020 was supposed to be the loan closing date. I gratefully said yes and promptly rearranged my budget and updated my current mortgage company. Extra funds in the midst of the crisis and pandemic was welcomed.I get a call on May 21st to be ‘updated’ on my loan. “I made a mistake and you now have to pay your May mortgage payment because we cannot close this month.” Seriously? Mind the before mentioned rearranged budget comment above. Being upset, I asked to speak with her manager. When Kimberly called, I was met with contempt, “I don’t know what you are referring to” (in regards to why she was calling), attitude rather than empathy for the mistake that her team had made. This mistake was a costly one for me the customer...again in the midst of this crisis. Here’s the deal; I understand people are human and mistakes are made. In my field, when mistakes are made people can die. So WHEN they are made, empathy and care are the only way to approach it not excuses, attitude and “what do you want me to do about it?” And “did she tell you to not make your mortgage payment” Yes, and I have it in writing. You are human beings engaging with human beings: it would be great if that simple formula was the basis of all interactions. Someone needs to scale Pouyan’s skills for the rest of the experience. And I’m giving this a one star because of the negative impact for our family. Please do better for others, especially when people are suffering in the midst of Covid-19. #healthcarelife

I was impressed with the strong communication Dave provided. Throughout our transaction I never had to wonder what the status of my client or transaction was. We had a great experience and super fast transaction. The whole place was great. It can be nerve wracking to refinance and to try to understand all of the documents and fees, but N. A. F. had several people explain things and they were available via text, email, phone, etc. Great work guys!
