My experience with Northwest Animal Care Hospital has always been great! Dr. Logan was very patient and great making myself and my dog comfortable. My dog has been very apprehensive at other clinics but is very comfortable and really excited to see Dr. Logan and the staff who are gentle and kind!

Had to reschedule an appointment. Life happens. Put in the new appointment more than a week out, understandable. Asked for a refill on my dogs medication and they said not until I came in for the appointment. Not even a weeks worth of medication for my dogs discomfort. They would rather have my dog in discomfort for a week vs a 5 minute appointment for a medication or giving a week's worth of medicine. There were ways to help, but they were dismissive and cold to my requests. Found another vet that will pull records and do a 5 minute check on the needs. It is just allergy medication. They never checked with the vet on this.

Dr. Logan is incredible! He sees all animals including exotics. He has helped make sure our rescued reptiles are in good health and has helped with a sick snake! He goes above and beyond for all our animals and is extremely knowledgeable on the animals he treats! I feel so lucky we found him to care for our animals. He puts their health and comfort above all which I am very grateful for.

Care has been totally fine, but anything beyond just regular yearly check up is insanely expensive!! Like twice the price of what I would expect. I like going here otherwise, but am going to find a new beer to get established at that isn't so crazy on pricing.

My boyfriend and I had to bring our border collie-Akita mix in after a very scary first time seizure. I had called while it was happening and the woman on the phone was just wonderful, dealing with me being a sobbing mess on the phone and also getting info from me to start the process. In the office the compassion and care for our dog and our worry just continued. Dr. Gomez was absolutely amazing and so was her vet tech. I just can't say enough how wonderful the team is. They truly care for you and your pets. They maintain gentle, honest, true care throughout the whole process.I am so thankful for them. Definitely recommend for any urgent care visits, annual and any pet needs. Thank you so much Northwest, you all are truly amazing.

Expensive, not cost friendly at all. But you are paying extra to get the best, high quality care around.

The staff is friendly and appointments are usually on time. They are moderately expensive and a nail trim requires an exam. They push for shots and heart worm tests, which is unnecessary in this part of the country.imo

My experience with this vet was horrific. They did not have knowledge about pregnancy with French bull dogs as they claimed and continued to act as though they were capable of handling her c section and care, while trying to get every dollar out of me and putting my dog and her puppies at risk because of their lack of experience and misguidance. To start, they told me they couldn’t do an x ray to determine anything because of not knowing how far along she was and they didn’t want to hurt the puppies. Understandable, so we went with an ultrasound… after those results, they told me that my dog was 40-43 days along… then excitedly offered an x ray.. which I didn’t understand. It was chaotic and I didn’t trust my gut and instead, trusted them. They did an x ray… knowing it was far too early to tell anything, the results told me exactly that. They couldn’t tell because she was too early in her pregnancy. Dr. Guillen called me personally to tell me the results and not talk to me about her mistake. Her recommendation was to get another x ray, mind you it costs 300 dollars… closer to the date to determine more. When I asked her the reasoning for offering the x ray so early, because if she was educated she would know 50-55 days along is when that takes place, she got aggressive in her tone telling me that I didn’t know the date of the tie and that they had to in order to determine more… I told her I felt misguided and that her decision wasn’t in my dogs best interest and I felt taken advantage of for them to make money and needed to speak to a manager. She laughed at me and said she would get me to the manager and then hung up on me. When I called back to speak to someone, I spoke to a lovely front desk gal. That was the best of my experience, was that conversation. How sad. When the medical director called me back she told me there was nothing they could do and to contact the headquarters somewhere in Texas… and she didn’t have a phone number. That was the extent of our conversation.I went to a new vet after this and come to find out, via ultrasound, my dog is confirmed to have puppies on the 12th which would be 63 days/full term. Dr. Guillen wanted to schedule the c section on the 8th.. which would have been way too soon and in the end of all of this, she did in fact do the x ray FAR too soon, putting my dogs puppies at risk which was her reasoning for not doing it first and offering the ultrasound. It all just makes no sense to me and it’s just lack of education on their part.Next is the quote for the c section…. In this extensive quote they gave me, there were many lines for anesthesia…. and if anyone is experienced with frenchies knows they cant have it, not to mention the regular amount given for other dogs c sections due to their noses and breathing. Yet again another thing I was educated on and they were not. Along with these obscene line items, they wanted to charge me for nail trimming, a cone…. Which the reasoning for c section is because they cannot reach their behind… so what would a cone be needed for? A Microchip which she already had…. And basically anything small they could add to get some more money out of a client. To say the least, the lack of experience from them and the way they took advantage of me with no compassion or care in the fact they did not know what they were doing are just a few reasons I will never return nor recommend this vet to anyone.Do the right thing, don’t mislead people when a pets life and her puppies lives would be on the line. If you make a mistake, fix it. Don’t do this. If I went with this vet, I would be in a hell of a worse position than being taken advantage of for 550 dollars.. Shame on you.

I am so appreciative of this vet clinic and their staff. My rabbit got into a fight with my other rabbit and was badly injured. Her regular vet didn’t have an appointment slot for two days, but this clinic got her in the same day and scheduled surgery for the next day. They took amazing care of her through her surgery and hospitalized and she is feeling so much better already. The check in and check out process are the smoothest and fastest I’ve ever experienced at any clinic. I appreciate that they take payment in the exam room in case you are emotional and don’t want to wait around at the front desk after your appointment. Thank you!!!!!
