Orkin has been great with their customer service and responsiveness. Adam in particular is excellent at answering questions and providing helpful advice. I’ve been very satisfied with their service.

Extremely disappointed that Stanley Vivens is no longer on our route. If he’s still with the company, we’d like him back as our tech, if he’s moved on then I wish him the very best! While the new tech Morgan was friendly enough, we have cameras around the outside of our house (and YES I watched her service, always do if the tech is new). Unfortunately, only 1/3 of the product details on the invoice were complete. I also had to have her dust for webs a second time around the porch and windows (the porch still wasn’t dusted the way Stanley would have), and she was visibly frustrated on camera when I asked her to do it again. It’s not my responsibility as a customer to teach a tech how to do their job and I feel like if I’m paying for a service I should get the service which I’m expecting based on the contract I’m paying for. Maybe what Stanley did for us was above and beyond what Orkin techs are taught, but no employee of Orkin has come close to matching his level of customer service and we’ve been customers since 2018.

Always pleased with Chris’ work. He is polite, flexible, easygoing, and good at his job. There was a noticeable difference when he was on leave and I’m glad he is back.

Orkin, and specifically Tyler, has been great. Tyler has been prompt in responding to our requests, gave us all the information we and our tenants have asked, and has been honest in recommending the level of service we need for the pest issue we have without trying to push for additional, maybe unnecessary services.

Called in on a Saturday and was greeted by a friendly associate. Contractor arrived on time, was very polite, informative, and recommended a plan for my bee situation within my budget and time concerns (coming into Winter months). Hoping the first treatment was effective but encouraged by the 30-day commitment and follow-up dates. Stuart was great.Service: Bee extermination

I'd been an Orkin customer for a few years and it was ok. Orkin is happy to take your monthly fee and do the bare minimum. Didn't matter to me if they're only here 5 minutes as long as the ants are gone. The last service of the season they rescheduled two times, both with very little notice. When I called to find out when they were coming back, they told me my seasonal service had ended, even though they're the ones who canceled both times. I was told it would be and extra $350 to come back out again. I paid for service in September of 2023 but they never showed up. I just wanted what I paid for to be complete. I asked to speak with a supervisor, was told they were busy, told someone would call back, nobody did. They're not the only exterminator around. I'll go with someone with better customer service next season.Service: Ant extermination

I'd give 0 stars if it was an option. Like others, as a property manager, I received a contract for their services in July for ants and rodents. The contract was written incorrectly and I couldn't get them to update it (they were supposed to charge a monthly fee but selected the option to pay for services as we go instead). A couple months after the ant treatment, the renter notified me that they had mice/rats that were coming up from under the house into their garage. What happened to preventative measures???My property maintenance guy set a couple traps in the garage until Orkin could get there but really didn't want the job of ridding the home of rodents--this is what we were paying Orkin for. The Orkin technician REFUSED to set any traps under the house and when we asked him to come out and remove the traps with rodents in them, it took him DAYS. By that time, rotting flesh smells were coming from the garage and the live rodents were eating the trapped ones. This was a horror story for the tenant who is a single mom of 3 kids. I called Orkin customer service and they said they would get the technician back out there to go under the house and assess damage and extent of infestation and reset the traps. When he came back out, again, he REFUSED to go under the house. He put ONE trap just inside the crawlspace, many feet away from where they were going in/out of the garage and we STILL don't know the condition of the insulation and anything else under the house. Once again, I contacted Orkin customer service, explained the whole situation and how we have a fantastic renter that we didn't want to lose over their poor service. The CSR assured us that this is not the way that they do business. She would have Sales contact me THAT DAY to discuss the contract and she would find a different technician to come out to the house and finish the job we paid for, remove the dead rodents and reset the traps. Yes, we were billed the first day that the technician came out and set one trap. $105 to set ONE TRAP. And guess what? NOT ONE PHONE CALL. FROM ANYONE after that. Nothing. Radio silence. My property maintenance guy had to continue to dispose of rodents and reset traps. I received a survey from Orkin in my email, to which I gave them a 0. Well, THEN I received an email from someone from Orkin apologizing for our bad experience and wanting to make it "right" by offering more services. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I never received the services that we already paid for! I told him no, but I would like the $105 back for services that were never rendered. The last email exchange was 3 weeks ago where he said he'd look into it and now nothing. I don't think that "looking into it" requires 3 weeks. Sales - 0; Technician - 0; CSR - 0. We're out! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. EVER. We could've lost our tenant/renter over this debacle. We bend over backwards to ensure she has a safe and comfortable home to live in with her kids as she's one of the best renters we've ever had and Orkin caused so much grief and anxiety that could've caused her to move out.

Kelly came out to my place who was a representative of this company but he was very knowledgeable and very much a pro at what he does. The Dudes was on it and very confident. I actually told them that I called a multiple extermination company for prices. Only because I wasn't in agreement with having a 1 year contract. Kelly actually said that's all right and told me that if you want you can just have the other 2 exterminating companies come out, but take note and allow them to speak with you just to see if they're knowledgeable of what you want done as I was. That and itself pretty much sealed the deal and my wife loved it. The other 2 companies were cheaper but they were unknowledgeable and untrained as to what they were going to be doing exactly. Later Steve and Antonio followed up on it from the "Orkin Company" they came out to my place today 9/21/2023. They were both on on Time, Knowledgeable, Profession, Confident, Funny and Superb at their job. I explained what was going on with my house and they treated and took care of absolutely everything. My wife and I couldn't be happier with their service that they did. They went over and beyond and are clearly the best. We're looking forward to our follow-up appointment in about 7-10 business days. If you want the best you gotta pay for the best. Like the saying goes.... you get what you pay for!Services: Home inspection

I literally never leave reviews. But has gotten to point I have no other choice. Signed up and paid $389 to have someone come out set traps for mice and spray for bugs. But was told I’d get 3 follow up appointments in the next month, and also would get some sanitization for cleaning up after the mice. After they came the first time. They said they would be back the next weekend and never showed or heard from anyone. So I reached out to set another follow up. And then they set 4 different appointments where they no called no showed every time after making sure I left work early to be home for them. Then was told I’d get my money back and they will have the manager call me also 3 times over last 2 weeks and no one ever calls me back. Would never use or recommend to anyone in a million years, and I was warned before using them.

I have been with Orkin for years now and thankfully my rat issue has been resolved without recurrence. A few years ago, at the beginning of the pandemic, they removed the deceased rodent and replaced all the insulation in the attic with excellence. Then the exterior baits were placed and have been maintained since with success.Also highly important to me, this business has made customer service a priority. They are, without exception, always patient and thoughtful with all my concerns and questions. Highly recommend.Service: Rodent extermination

Had urgent issue with bees! I called at 6pm and they were here the next morning. Price was reasonable and tech was VERY professional. He explained treatment in a way I could understand and answered all my questions. And bonus points he was very clean too! I will recommend Orkin to all my friends.Service: Hornet & wasp extermination
