Excellent experience. Start to finish they make everything so smooth. Friendly and caring staff, don't even feel the needle sticks! They care about your comfort the entire time. Highly recommend this facility.

Under new leadership recently and have donated a few times over the last few months. Haven't donated anywhere else (yet), so maybe I don't have a true basis of comparison but I've felt comfortable with the process here each time and enjoy picking the staff's brains about the science research our samples are being used for and how the equipment works.First appointment takes a couple of hours and appointments only take about an hour and a half thereafter if your donation speed is average. I use the time to catch up on my reading and eat their snacks and drink their Gatorade. Good way to make a few bucks if you're offered an incentive.

My experience with Plasmalab has been phenomenal. All of the staff are friendly, professional, and good hearted people. The phlebotomist are well-trained, and the scheduling over the phone has been fantastic. Before starting at Plasmalab I had the opportunity to talk to Crystal and she provided me with information on the program and I was able to have all of my questions regarding Plasmalab answered. It's been an overall pleasant experience being in the program.

Really cute little spot in Everett. All the staff are friendly. I was really nervous my first time donating and since I'm skinny, I got kind of light headed. They swept into action with an ice pack and a fan to cool my neck and head off. These people really care about their donors and all follow procedure exactly. I've donated here about six or seven times now and never had a bad experience, and they've never missed a vein. If you're wondering where to donate, this is my first suggestion; I drive an hour to donate here and it's well worth it.

Took them 4 weeks to get back to me because they misplaced my initial draw. Then I was told that they can't use me but didn't say why. The gal at reception has terrible phone manners. I have been in the customer service industry for a long time and if I talked to my customers or patients that way, I would be out of a job.

It's an ok place, went in and they checked my veins before I did paperwork with that said if you have small veins they won't let you donate because of the size of needle so be prepared for that

I love this place! The staff is incredibly nice and very knowledgable. I've come here several times within the past 6 months and have enjoyed every minute of it. The $100 is simply a bonus to hanging out with the awesome staff!

I've been going to PLI for 10 years. The staff is super friendly and courteous. Their building is newly remodeled and immaculate. i would rather be healthy and not need the money but I look at it like a small consolation prize from the universe. Laura has been there the longest and is awesome! i have been going so long I remember when they had manual donating. The auto machines are fairly new, but very convenient. The research that is done by qualified donations helps a lot of people. Please don't be disappointed if they can't accept you. You still get very valuable information that most doctors would not test for, or that are so expensive they are unaffordable. Even if you do not qualify, and lack of rarity or other conditions or diseases may cause this, you end up with some costly labs for free that may benefit you later on. In my case, my condition was so rare that not a single doctor, including many specialists, did anything but mis-diagnose and mistreat me my whole life, while I suffered, and I am now 42. The information in my labs from PlasmaLab led to the correct treatment for my condition. It saved my life. I not only had an extremely high count of an immune globulin that they were interested in, but, even though they cannot give medical advice, we were able to do our own research based upon distinctly unique lab values which were provided to me at no charge. If you do go and qualify mention me then I can get the $25 finders fee. 20197BH is my I.D. number. Thanks for reading.

After qualifying as allergic to nuts via an initial blood test, today I made a second trip to PlasmaLab from Seattle (40 minutes each way) only to find I was disqualified. AFTER having had also a finger prick and urine test. Only then did a staff member decide, in the midst of verbally going over a long list of questions that could easily have been completed over the phone or by mail, that I was disqualified. No apologies, no offer of reimbursement for my travel, and when i expressed disappointment that I wasted my time, she said, ridiculously "at least you have your test results". Um, yeah, I already knew I was allergic to nuts; that's why I came here in the first place! The specific reason I was disqualified after all that is also ridiculous. It is personal so I won't be sharing it here, but it in no way presented any sort of risk to myself or anyone else. The staff member cited FDA regulations but frankly I'm not even sure she was interpreting the wording of the question correctly--the first woman who went over the paperwork with me seemed to find my answer no problem. These folks seriously need to rethink their procedure and qualify people to the extent possible in ways other than making them come to the office. Or else they need to pay people a travel fee.
