I’ve been working with Preferred Property Management for several of my rental properties, and the experience has been excellent. Steve is extremely helpful, responsive, and proactive — he takes care of everything from tenant communication to maintenance issues with great attention to detail.
What I appreciate most is how smoothly things are handled — issues are resolved quickly, updates are communicated clearly, and I always feel confident that my properties are in good hands. The team is professional, reliable, and truly goes the extra mile to make property ownership stress-free.
Highly recommend Preferred Property Management to anyone looking for trustworthy and efficient property management services!

I have been trying to find a decent place to live for a while now and been met with less than great care all over, until I meet Kai and Vanessa at Preferred Properties. From the first email to Kai, to the showing with Vanessa and then the paperwork with Mackenzie, I feel taken care of. Their interactions were professional yet friendly, and they were there to answer all of my questions immediately. Preferred Properties’ willingness to see me as a worthy client was everything, and more important to me than I think they can imagine

These people only care about themselves and your money. I totally agree with Amanda Adamik. I had exactly the same experience with these people.

The reviews don't lie, Preferred Property Management is truly horrible. In the two years I rented from them, I had put in many maintenance requests, and most of them never got addressed. Not a good experience and would encourage everyone to look elsewhere.

Highly recommend. We were blown away by the attention to detail – from the luxurious bedding to the curated outdoor spaces. Plus, the stargazing here is unlike anywhere else.

From the DAY I moved into my rental home I had issues getting this office to make concessions noted in my lease as agreed upon by the property owner herself. When they finally made the changes for me to sign my lease I thought I was in the clear. Im an easy renter. No BS. I dont drink or smoke. We never had a dog. Never had noise issues. I had some months when work was slow for my business that rent was paid late but thats it. And I was constantly treated like a problem. The office said it was the owner Monika, but when talking to Monika it was all on the office and she had nothing to do with it. We finally decided to buy instead of rent and after putting $1100 into floor cleaning, move out cleans and repainting and patching walls they still decided to keep my ENTIRE security deposit. The receipt they sent has several tasks/repairs listed under one cost, and many of the items noted were issues that were noted when I moved in. Missing doors, some trim that was left unpainted while the owner painted other trim. I replaced the front door lock to a smart lock ($200), and replaced all the interior door hardware (handles and hinges) to make it feel more updated shortly after I moved in. I replaced the hose bib when their repairman was non responsive. I put more effort into my home than 90% of renters care to put in and was only there for 2 years. The only major repair needed was my daughter bedroom door (cheap hollow core door with a crappy paint job) which my daughter threw something at in a tantrum and we couldn't find a replacement that fit the same hinge style because its a two hing not three and you cant just buy those at home depot.
So when I asked for an itemized receipt to break down EXACTLY what I was responsible for I was shocked that they refused. Ive left two voicemails. Spoke with a handful of times with Mackenzie (very sweet) and one other time with someone who was rude as all get out. I moved out on April 1. Here we are two weeks into June (6 weeks since my initial request) and NO ONE HAS CALLED TO ANSWER MY CONCERNS AND DELIVER MY ITEMIZED RECEIPT. Not only that but there seems to be NO online record of my move in walk through in their “tenant portal”.
When I tell you to avoid this place, I mean it. If you are like me and just want to keep your head down, raise your kids, and have no drama then find somewhere else. I was there for two years and they did multiple walk throughs within a few months for no valid reason. I had to tell them that the excessive need to enter my unit was borderline harassment and moving forward they need to communicate the expected number of walk throughs they plan to do because excessive and unnecessary investigating of my home is inappropriate and against my rights. (If they cant prove a legitimate reason to enter aside from a complaint, lease renewal etc)
Unfortunately the amount they took from me and what I COULD get back if going to court is not worth the cost of pursuing them so I hope they continue to get poor ratings until they are put out of business and are unable to steal from another hardworking mother and/or local business the way they did me.
Updated to include attached photos for proof of communication effort. And the email sent today that still does not include the itemized receipt for the supposed repairs or my move in report that shows anything broken, missing or not in working condition upon signing my lease. Still waiting for some human communication and proof of their claims.

As a property owner we appreciate the services Preferred Property Management NW provides. They have managed our property for the last seven years and we could not be happier. They communicate well and are responsive. If there is an issue they work hard to get it sorted out. They have always provided excellent customer service and I would recommend them to anyone looking to have their properties managed.

Definitely recommend. I really had a great experience with Laurie and Avery. Their understanding and support of my situation during this process was greatly appreciated, as was their professional knowledge.

Absolutely the best property management group in the Snohomish / Seattle north region! Great communication with tenants and owners.

They only show units from 8a-4p M-F, how are you supposed to find proper tenants for the properties you manage if you are excluding a group of professionals who work during those times and you provide no alternate way for prospective tenants to view units

Moved away from the area and preferred property made renting my home for the past six years stress-free and easy. They notified me when necessary but took care of all of the behind scenes work. I still had input on major maintenance and money issues.
After deciding to sell my home, I asked preferred property to sell my home and it was as easy as renting. Avery was fantastic working the mechanics of selling my home. I would absolutely use this team again.

Property Management NW sold my house recently! It was great working with Steve and Avery! I feel like they went above & beyond and the house was off the market in 6 days with an earlier close than expected! Would recommend them to anyone.
