This vet seems to only be concerned with making money and not taking care of their clients. The lack of empathy and understanding is disappointing.

Friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Brendan and Dr. King made us feel welcome and provided excellent service.

*Update: None of these clarifications fix our problem - my cat does have ear mites per another vet. No notes? It's not our fault your practice didn't listen effectively to us. Offering another exam is not what I wanted, I wanted him to be assessed thoroughly at the time of his first exam before meeting our other cats. An apology, explanation for neglect or anything HONEST would've been more appropriate in this situation - not denial and excuses, because despite your cowardly refusal to acknowledge the truth, it was in fact missed (despite being mentioned via email, in person, phone call, online appointment request, etc)... It should not have been missed, but it was, and he does have ear mites. You are in the wrong. Gaslighting us like this is disgustingly apathetic and truly disappointing.* review is specifically for Dr. King and management. If I could give 5/5 to the stellar staff members who deserve it I would! Dr. Johnson, assistants/techs and reception were all great. Prices are fair and the clinic is clean... But, we ended up having a serious issue. Before coming in I requested an online appointment, emailed, and then spoke to a receptionist as well. During all of my communications before our first visit I summarized that the cat we had just adopted came from a home that had him outdoors and that he was previously treated for chronic ear mite issues with holistic remedies that weren't effective, and that we needed to address ear mites, fleas, etc, because we have resident cats who we wanted to keep safe, so this new adopted cat was kept quarantined until we were able to have him seen by a vet. Their website mentioned a Dr. Johnson who we wanted to see since she had cats too, so we requested to see her first. If all went well we were hoping to establish care with all 8 of our cat$.Upon arrival the office manager covering reception due to short staff ignored me saying good morning to her, I didn't see that she was on the phone, so I walked up and smiled saying good morning again and she didn't say good morning back or hello, she just curtly said to us "who're you checking in?" I answered, and then said "I'm not sure if you heard me, but I said good morning" and she ignored me AGAIN, so I told her directly that her behavior was rude. She apologized, but the checking in experience was foreshadowing I guess, lol. We saw Dr. King (despite requesting Dr. Johnson in the appointment request). That lack of communication and transparency was annoying, but forgivable. Dr. King did great at the exam, and we later saw Dr. Johnson for another cat. Things were good! Some time passed, I saw debris in my cat's ears who saw Dr. King for his exam in which we wanted him to be examined FOR EAR MITES, so I emailed my concern/confusion to them a few days ago. I tried to be kind despite my upset... I got a response today; management and/or Dr. King didn't handle our concerns appropriately nor take accountability for their mistake, not even an apology. Instead we received an email from Dr. King denying our experience even happened, acting defensive, unprofessional, and dishonest... I asked that this mistake be rectified somehow yet they refused to take accountability or to simply apologize.Neglecting to do diagnostics/treatment when the client mentions concerns multiple times, then refusing to acknowledge their mistakes is NOT how a reputable veterinary practice should operate...I requested they cancel all our upcoming appointments, and they deleted our patient portal... While we appreciate the positive experiences we had, we don't trust them to care for our cats, we want the best for them.I've lost two children, and can no longer have anymore children; our cats are our family and we look out for them as such. I understand times are hard and that Puget Park has their own struggles to deal with, but please remember that your patients matter, they aren't just number$. We all make mistakes, but denial and defensiveness in lieu of humility and accountability isn

Excellent care, wonderful staff! Having worked in vet med for many years, I'm not great at trusting others to care for my pets, but this clinic has changed that. Highl6 recommend!

Each time that my husband and I take our cat here, we have a positive experience. They know how to calm down pets that are stressed, including our TJ, and provided exceptional service today. If something needs to be changed, they let you know, and are nice; no emotional manipulating (guilt-tripping) goes on there, unlike another vet chain / business. The vet who saw us is nice & knowledgeable, and I know that we can trust her. Therefore, whoever is reading this, and needs an option and a great place to take your pet, certainly including cats, come & try Puget Park Veterinary Clinic. It's along 128th, before or after the freeway interchange, depending on your going east or west, and near McDonald's, Safeway. & Katya's Bakery. We've taken him there since late 2019.

I love the everything about this place! I have been brjngkng my animals here for theblast 20 years. From the front desk staff to the Vet techs and doctors... the care and compassion is on point... I spent eight hours at an urgent care vet last night and not only did they call this morning to check on my Bailey, but they scheduled an urgent same day follow up visit. We are here waiting to be seen as I type this. ❤️

The vet can handle cats and very chill dogs. She doesn't handle nervous dogs well. On multiple occasions I've been unimpressed with her inability to handle the situation. She comes in very nervously and makes the situation worse. I do not recommend taking a fear reactive dog here. She'll simply prescribe unnecessary meds to sedate your pet. My dog's new vet was able to handle him without additional drugs.

Great vet! Staff here is so nice and always answer any questions I have. Never had to pay an outrageous amount of money, very reasonable cost for visits. This has been our vet for the past three years. Highly recommend

Incredibly professional and empathetic.Me and my partner went to get our dog checked up after another clinic told us our dog was okay but he really wasn't. The vets here told us what all of our options were for finances, and possibilities as to what your pet might be going through. We had no idea our dog had cancer because other vets said it was just fatty, but by the time we got to pudget it had spread and had to be euthenized. The process was really comforting, and professional. I am really happy with Dawn and Dr. King's care with our dog, he became comfortable with them in the end. He was never comfortable with any vet but he was good with them and it spoke volumes to me and my partner. We will regularly return here as long as we can for how they helped us, and our dog ❤️
