Where do I even start?! This beautiful soul has been doing coloring and cutting my hair for 2 years now. It really is just ridiculous I have not yet written a review! I always have a great time when I go in to get my hair done and then walk out feeling like a supermodel and a full soul. Ruthie has a loving heart, passionate mind, and kind soul which leads to great conversation during the couple of hours it takes for my hair to be done. Ruthie colored my hair for my wedding and she did such a wonderful job. I always defer to her to what shade of color to do exactly because I know she has a good eye. A few months before the wedding I went to do my hair and she knew just what color was more me than I even knew. She somehow knew what color I feel the most confident in before I even knew. She helped me find the best place to get extensions for my wedding. I recolored my hair just before the wedding and Ruthie was extremely patient with my wedding nerves and forgetful self. Ruthie was able to magically match my hair to the extensions to where it looked beautiful. I got so many compliments over my hair color. Everett’s best kept secret! We met and I fell I love with her hair and I couldn’t wait to get into her chair! The time and attention she poured into me was unmatched by any salon I’ve ever been too which I sure told her about!!! I cried happy tears looking in the mirror at the hair I had been asking for FOR YEARS!!! I cannot say enough- customer for life here

Ruthie does an amazing job cutting my hair! I have been going to her for years now! I also love how she is very encouraging! She never diminishes your "before" look in order to make you like your "after." Why? Because she believes we are beautiful already...all the time! So not only do I walk away from my appointments feeling great about my hair, I also walk away feeling great about who I am!

I saw Ruthie last night for my first appointment and I am happy to say I've found my forever hairstylist! Ruthie is incredibly knowledgeable, super sweet, and you can really tell that she loves what she does. My end result is so beautiful and I've never been happier with my hair. She is a horrible vendor! We had an appointment to to a hair trial run today, 1 week before my wedding. This was booked over a month ago. I called yesterday to confirm, only to be told that she could no longer do it because of a last-minute wedding booking. She has now also confirmed that she has to cancel for my own wedding because she has something more "massive" booked that day. Mind you, she did not confirm this with me yet, she sent that message to my friend who referred her letting her know she would call me "later". She must be waiting to tell me that the day before my wedding too! Do not book her! Bookings mean nothing to this person. When booking I casually mentioned that money would not be an issue so price points mean nothing either. Update: Ruthie finally messaged me an apology almost 2 years later asking me to remove the original review. I'm very disappointed it took this long for her to show any remorse for her behavior.

Ruth’s Anne is totally awesome! I came in with hair that needed a total correction. I didn’t realize what bad service I was getting other places. She is very patient and kind. And will spend the time needed. Go see her!

Been coming to Ruthie Anne for almost 2 years now. By far shes does the best baylayage I've ever had! Also best cut. I feel like hair color is a mix between art and science and she brings the perfect balance.

I am a man with long hair. Before going to Ruthie Anne Salon, I had tried two salons in the Seattle area recommended by top fashion magazines that cost well over $100 a cut and had no idea whatsoever what to do with my hair. Ruthie did. She is an artisan, and brilliant, and one of the things that makes her most brilliant is how she gets the LITTLE things right: knowing the importance of blow drying, placing small stabilizing cuts in just the right place and the effect of different hair products. She is also very good at seeing several moves ahead with respect to how your hair will grow afterwards and what kinds of symmetries and potential can be achieved.
