If I could give it a zero I would. The behavior of a young deli man seemed as if it were everyday behavior that all of the clan puts up with. Where as the old man just walked off and clocked off. Neither knew how to control a situation of the matter of one customer cutting in front of another and both of them just going on like nothing. Until a customer speaks up and voices that they should pay attention to who's next in line, considering we can't do our own line policing. Then the young deli man gets upset because gray hair old deli man clocks off and he no longer is helping young deli man. Young deli man mumbles as gruntled cut in front of customer walks away,"fucking people can't keep their mouth shut". The gruntled customer heard. Where is management around this place? Just sick. Safeway shame on you.

Ignorant people at the self check-out that wouldn't allow a bank-issued debit card to be used to purchase a gift card. Thankfully they let me buy the first one because my card was already charged but they didn't let me buy the second one. So stupid, cash is cash! I went over to the Hallmark store and bought another gift card with no issue. Now I am mad at this Safeway and won't shop there again for a good long time. I hope you are happy with sticking to "company policy" and not even listening to your customer to realize the card I was using was NOT a gift card, but a bank-issued debit card.

I find it absurd that Washingtonians consider my home state of Kentucky to be puritanical and backwards. At least you can buy a beer there past 2 AM on a Friday. ?

What is happening to this store? I just got grocerys and the lady checking me out looked and smelled like she hadn't bathed all week. She told the people ahead of me to grab their own stuff and to hurry she had a line . I get it stores are short staffed but these people are representing you the least you can do is make sure staff doesnt smell like an ashtray while bagging our food.

Made an appointment for a COVID vaccine just to show up and them telling me that they are expired. I don't understand why they would let people show up and telling them they can't get it. Also if you make an appointment and it gives you the option to choose which one you would like they told me they didn't have pfizer. The pharmacist was rude since the moment I walked up to the front desk. Wouldn't recommend at all. He had the audacity to ask me which vaccine I would like to just to tell me they haven't it. Bad customer service.

Horrible about having things in the wrong spots I have bad vision and I'm constantly getting fruit that has three or more stock in the wrong spot you try to get a half a cantaloupe for $1.99 thinking it's a deal and it ends up being like five dollars Frozen stuff is the same way you'll get big boxes of stuff thinking that you're getting a good deal because there's 10 of them stock in the area that says 699 and they turn out to be 1299 I have bad vision so I really rely on things being stocked where are the price tag says it should be.... they don't even adjust the price being it's their mistake they just make you end up paying for it anyway this Safeway specifically is getting extremely frustrating between prescriptions and groceries it's getting to be quite the chore to go in there I mean no wonder employees don't last very long and God for bid you try to get a basket to grab a couple things I think it was only one or two left in the whole store God for bid they replace them because people keep stealing them.... oh and five dollar cans of progressive soup that are gathering dust because nobody's buying them you might wanna lower the price and move some product

On Oct. 9, I went to the Safeway on 19th and 112th in Everett and (in person) stopped at the deli and filled out a deli tray form and ordered 2 trays for my wedding on Oct. 30th at 9am. I personally handed the order form to a Safeway deli employee and asked her if she needed anything else. She said no and I left the deli to the bakery and ordered my wedding cake. On Oct. 30th at 10:00am, I arrived at the deli and there were no trays waiting for me. I was devastated because what was I going to serve my guests and I had to be at the ceremony location at 10:30. They asked me if I could wait 30 minutes to an hour for them to make up the trays but I could not. In tears, I went to the bakery and those fine folks had my wedding cake, thank goodness! Now I realize that times are tough and maybe it's difficult to get good employees but this was unacceptable. I asked for the manager and the manager offered me Hormel packets! I had no more time to waste as I didn't want to be late for my own wedding. I'm putting this out there because I didn't want this to happen to anyone else for their special event. Do not shop at the Safeway on 19th in Everett!

Ive never had to ask for manager hardly ever in my life.. I just go about my business.. but when I inquired, this evening.. No manager available at this location. The young man in the beanie in the meat department is mouthy towards customers. He said something under his breath directed towards me. Took me a minute to realize it. I thought.. hey he's having a bad day no worries I got thick skin.. And then I saw him talking to his buddy in produce about it. And then at 7:25ish. (Check the cameras if internal management is curious) I was not confrontational and I simply asked for his name. And he was pretend shocked like he did something wrong and would not tell me his name. I know it doesn't do any good to complain on yelp especially a huge chain like Safeway. It's embarrassing to keep employees that so obviously dislike their jobs. But due to Covid that's what business have to do these days. But it shouldn't be without mentioning.

Safeway pharmacy: The Hispanic pharmacy technician that worked Saturday, August 2,2020 around noon, needs a class in customer service and how customers should be treated. I'm a senior, with very bad eyesight, and she couldn't even help me bring up a cost for my medication on good rx. She was rude, extremely non professional. She could really use an attitude adjustment, a serious one!

I was in the store on 19th in Everett yesterday and had one of the best personal experiences ever as I interacted with Lucas, my checker. He was super-friendly, funny, seemed to really be enjoying his job, and he made the check-out experience enjoyable. He's just great with people, in my opinion. Thanks, Lucas!
