I switched here after another major chain failed to be able to provide my drug for weeks. What an improvement. I used to have to wait a week between getting prescribed and filling the script. Now I get my meds within hours not days. It's way better here.

Alex is awesome!
He’s super nice, always patient, and really knows his job. Every time I come in, he’s helpful and makes things easy. You can tell he actually cares about people - not just doing his job. Really appreciate him! 🙌

It is ok hard to find things and hot foods and deli close at 7pm so after 6-6:30pm forget it

These people treat you like garbage when you receive any type of narcotic from your doctor your imitialy a drug fiend...
I can understand it's a crappy neighborhood and drug abusers are everywhere but to treat people like everyone is an addict is very immature.
I wish I could give them less stars because ultimately it's not there business what the doctors prescribe.
Worst experience and unfortunately I'm locked into this pharmacy that treats people with utter disrespect.
Horrible experience
The bottom line is people shouldn't have to fight for their prescriptions.
And get hung up on if you have any questions on why...

I've been going here since 2019 and originally it was pretty good service - then it slowly went down hill when Alicia left. I can't even get a new medication filled without having to go through constant hoops.

If you want to roll the dice on whether or not you'll even get your prescription and be treated like garbage then this is where you should go. They gave me eight days out of month supply for my prescription and when I called a couple weeks later trying to get the rest they hung up on me.

Love the staff and pharmacy itself, but the "oversell" of vaccines has gotten out of hand. "No," means, "no." Maybe offer twice with the benefits but after that let it go. I saw 2 people in front of me get asked if they've had the shingles vaccine. They said they'd take care of it elsewhere after which they were again highly recommending as it's free. "No." Twice more the suggestion. Enough! We're adults. Stop! There are many reasons someone might not want a vaccine, the majority of which are private and absolutely no one else's business. To publicly hound customers after they said no in front of full lines of people is embarrassing and uncalled for. Frankly it's gotten so bad It feels like going to a gym and being hounded to upgrade a membership. This is an awesome pharmacy; please just stop. I felt totally embarrassed for those two in front of me. I went for it but if I didn't want to and kept being hounded I think I'd start going elsewhere. Again I love this pharmacy and this is review only because of that behavior.

I've been a customer at this Safeway since 2017 and the customer service has been great. Until I started dealing with the Pharmacy and their customers' 2nd attitude. I now need 2 hands to count how many times I've been hung up on or made to feel like an idiot. Whats with these people in the Pharmacy that makes a smile so damn difficult to manifest? I'm tired of arriving in discomfort or pain and getting horrific service. Shame on the people who disregard the sick and hurting as ignorant and burdens. I will no longer be using THIS safeway Pharmacy .
