Awesome, friendly staff! Much improvement of the time prescriptions are ready! Received texts and calls about my meds being ready. Great pharmacy to get your meds filled and with speedy and efficient technicians & pharmacists!

It's a situation of a service that people have to have and the employees at this pharmacy take advantage of that fact by treating people like garbage, ignoring phone calls, hanging up on you, or placing you on hold and never picking up the phone again. Whoever was working on 2/16/24 at 11:30am just did this.

Do not send your prescriptions here if you want them filled. I got broken teeth pulled by oral surgeon Friday. It's now Sunday night and I still have no prescription. The hours are never open as far as I'm concerned. This is unacceptable I have never heard of a pharmacy closing at 1:30 pm daily? It's hard to tell...there are not even hours for the pharmacy posted anywhere online or in store. I thought they'd be open until at least around 7 but not like I haven't tried now 2 days in a row and been hating life. I tried to complain on the website of theirs first but it ate my co plaint before I could fully hit the submit button. So here it is now for all to see. If I would've known there was such a short time window or what the hours were maybe I could've planned for that but I have wasted two trips now and I think it's dangerous to not have this medication right now pushing it. If I die you'll know why. Infected tooth nerves and gums and no meds equals I want to eat people. Just kidding tho I'll save the gingerbread boys for Santa. Maybe mail order is the way to go? I never had a problem with rite aid or bartells really. Just saying.

The worst pharmacy. Finally changing after today. Been going there begrudgingly (don't ask why I haven't changed) for about 10 years, not once in that time has a prescription actually been ready when they said it would be. They always call to say its ready then you show up and have to walk around the store for 15 minutes cause it's not actually ready, every, single, time for 10 years. Now today I drop off a prescription for some muscle relaxers to help me sleep through a neck injury that's kept me from sleeping the last two nights, she tells me it'll be ready in a half hour, knowing how they work I come back in two hours and shocker they haven't even tried to fill it yet and after 10 minutes of waiting for her to get done staring at the computer she tells me they need to call the doctor cause they can't read the note. Why wasn't that done an hour and a half ago when I was told it would be filled by?

Maybe I was spoiled by my previous pharmacy so that's why I have high (maybe unrealistic) expectations. When I am visiting my primary care provider I am sometimes provided a prescription for a medication I have never used or heard of. I was used to my previous pharmacy receiving the new script and filling it upon it's arrival. They would then alert me via text or phone call that my script was ready for pick up. This was helpful because I had probably forgotten about the new medication, or didn't remember the name of it. At this pharmacy I must request that my new script to be filled. It isn't automatically filled like it was at my last pharmacy. It will not be filled unless Itell the tech I have a new med and ask for it by name. Almost every visit I will ask if they have any other meds ready for pickup. Often times I am told "no". (Sometimes I know a script should be available because I have refills)... But, if I push and ask for a refill by name then I am asked if I would like it filled. It's like I need to request that all my meds be filledand refilled automatically. Very frustrating for someone as forgetful as me. More than several times I have been asked by my PCP about how well a medication is working for me... And I have to admit that I forgot to request to have that script (new or monthly) filled. This would never have happened at my previous pharmacy, because they would have filled all the scripts and asked which ones I wanted to purchase. In retrospect, l suppose I relied on my previous pharmacy too much to make sure I was getting all my meds in one monthly visit.Another practice I have yet to see at this Safeway pharmacy is the staff searching for online coupons to help the customer save money. I miss being told that a coupon was found online that made my script free.Several times I have had issues with being told my script would be ready by X-day, then I arrive on X-day only to be told that there was an issue with insurance or whatever when they tried to fill it. I would then insist that they try again.. and it would be accepted. Then I'd be told to wait again to have it filled. If there's an issue with filling my script, then please alert the customer! Luckily, I live close by and have no issues with transportation, mobility, or whatever barriers a lot of customers may have. But, if I did, I would be very upset to be told that my meds were not ready at the time designated by the pharmacy.I have been a customer at this pharmacy because, again, it's really close to where I live. I am about to request that my PCP send my scripts to a pharmacy 23 miles away because I know that I will always get my meds when they say they're ready.I understand that these are strange times where being short staffed is the norm. Staff are struggling to meet pt. demands AND expected to go above and beyond the customers needs. But, I am tired of being told or texted that my script will be ready at a certain time, and only to arrive after waiting in line to be told I need to wait again..Or after the visit I realize that I need to have another script filled because I didn't know that I was running low.On a positive note, I haven't been treated differently for the type of medications I have prescribed to me.

Like many of the reviewers mentioned, when they say your order is ready (I call or they leave a mess) it's not really ready. It means when you get there they will start working on it. This has happened many times. The last time when I asked for my "ready" order I quickly said " I know it's not because we play this game often" I got a dirty look and..... Then they started my order. It's obvious the only customers they are concerned about are the ones right in front of them. My company has 65 reviews with a 5.0 rating. This Safeway is 1.7 out of 33 reviews. It's not hard to just get 4.0. 4 really isn't great, so .... 1.7.... I've never seen a score below 2.5. do you know how bad you need to be for a 1.7? Now, I've left 3 messages to schedule the new COVID shot. No callback. Why did I call when I knew the results? Today I move to Bartels because I left my 3rd message 3 hrs ago. Hate your customers? Lie about their order being ready or not interested in returning calls? Are you a Mgr not willing to guide your staff to great customer service? Find a different job. 1.7!

If I could rate this pharmacy any lower, I would. We have had nothing but problems with this pharmacy for going on two years now, and the only reason we've done it this long is to give them the benefit of the doubt because they're understaffed and overworked. But I am done. My daughter had a life and death situation, with medication sent from the ER, and we only found out that it needs a prior authorization and ordered when we called to make sure it was ready THE NEXT MORNING. We have spent over an hour talking to 3 different techs and her Dr, and then it just magically became available. We will be switching to another pharmacy, and Teresa needs to be fired. She is the worst pharmacy tech I have ever had the unforunate opportunity to meet. GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE.

Used this pharmacy for the first time and I was wary because of the reviews. So I thought I'd throw in mine. It was fine. Really. They were very friendly and considerate. After finding out I was in between insurances, they found a discount for me. They filled my prescription in 10 minutes. I was there on the day before 4th of July, a busy grocery day.So I guess I just need to ask everyone to be patient with medical professionals right now. They're all spread thin and overworked. So if you catch them on an off day, lend them your grace.

My advice to anyone reading these reviews please take them seriously. I transferred to Bartells on Hoyt and it's the best pharmacy I've ever had. THEY ARE GREAT

Pharmacy is dangerous for those with lifw saving medications!!! They are not consistent with text notifications for pickup for auto refill. They never call or text when there is a problem with refills such as when insurance won't pay, refills are out or EVEN IF THE MEDICINE IS NOT INSTOCK!!!! I only find out when I go to pick up my prescription that there is an issue. I have had to go without my medicine for several days on many different occasions because of this. Never trust refill times told you over the phone. They are never on time. The pharmacy has even given me the wrong dosage. My son's doctor sent in a prescription with an updated dosage and when I went to pick it up, they refilled the wrong one. This is so dangerous!!!

I've been going to this Pharmacy (41st Rucker Everett) for years, so my expectations are quite low. This time they exceeded expectations. Got there at 7:30pm (30 minutes before the 8:00pm close on Friday 4/22). Waited behind one person that already had been waiting at the counter impatiently (must have been there a while already). While I was there, it took them over 30 minutes get to her (we were their only two customers) , so I ultimately reach the counter 2 minutes after the 8:00 closing time. Without saying a word, the assistant walked to the other side of the counter and started wiping down the CC machine. After I stood at the counter for a while waiting, the assistant looked up at me and said curtly "you know we are closed". No, I didn't... I could see the difference. Then I started to laugh to myself about how bad these same two have become at this location. This was all too familiar....yup.....I saw it on one of Carol Burnett's skits (and I think Candid Camera). Ultimately, I didn't leave the counter and the Pharmacist had to finally come over to get rid of me. I was checked out in under 60 seconds, thank you. A regular Pharmacy could have found 60 seconds someplace in the 30+ minutes of doing what appeared to be nothing (and with no other customers around) ....but like I said....I've been coming here a long time so nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Two Pharmacy employees, two total customers, no phone or computer activity with a half hour of time seeming to be doing not much, not exactly overload conditions. Will say, the memory and the later laughing about it all, almost made it worthwhile. If it wasn't for the convenient proximity and GoodRX prices, it wouldn't be worth the laughs. Can't wait for the next episode there.

After reading the reviews of this pharmacy I thought it really couldn't be that bad. Let me tell you it is all that and more. There is no sense of urgency even if you call a day in advance. They didn't start the process of filling my 2 year old daughter's prescription until I showed up to pick it up. That's even after receiving a call saying it was ready to go. I'm currently still waiting even with 3 people staring at computers behind the counter. It's coming up on an hour so I decided to make a review of this "pharmacy." They put me as "urgent" on the fill list the lady behind the counter claimed but that seems to not mean anything. So I highly recommend going anywhere else because it will definitely be better than this place.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS PLACE.

I was in a car accident and suffer from injurys to my nerves. This is the third time I went in person on Friday to refill my prescription and its been 3 days now and i call this pharamacy up and they say it won't be ready until Tuesday. My mother who has high blood pressure and a Thyroid condition, had to wait 3 days for her medication and this is not okay. My mom's blood pressure could have killed her.A man in front of me on Friday 1/14/22 was dealing with the same issue. He called 3 hours before he went to this safeway to have his prescription refilled and when he gets there it isn't. To the manager of the pharmacy and Safeway this needs to be fixed before someone ends up in the hospital or dies. I get you're understaffed but that is no excuse when it comes to medication people depend on to survive. I had to take my mom into the hospital. We have since changed pharmacies. I do not recommend this Safeway or The pharmacy at the Fred Meyers in Marysville.
