He’s told us he could help we or IRS lien, he didn’t tell us what he knew that this lien needed to be paid in full before the lien would be removed. Now because of him we now have two liens.He’s nice at first till he gets your money, then he turns into a jerk.Stay away!

Filed my taxes with STS and haven’t received them in 2 months. When I tried calling them they quickly dismissed me and haven’t answered my calls since. I’ve been polite the whole time and all they can say is that it’s not their responsibility once it leaves their office (understandable) but won’t help me figure out a way to find out.

This place is a joke, called on the phone to see how much it would be they said for standard w-2 taxes it’ll be around 100. So I agreed and they did the tax’s for me.. When i came in to sign the paper work the total bill was $250... save your money folks and go some place else. It’s not worth it.

Bob is a pleasure to work with for sure! I was in a really tough spot when my sister-in-law recommended him. Through his compassionate demeanor he dispensed excellent advice to successfully guide me through to where I am now. He prepares my personal taxes as well as my business. Bottom line is I trust him.

I paid them 500.00 to do my taxes in April and it is now December and apparently the IRS "lost"my return .I have called and asked what to do and they have told me they will send me a paper return to mail and now 2 weeks later I am again calling to ask for it.In my experience the IRS sends you an email confirmation when they receive your income tax return that was filed electronically. Since they are the ones that filed electronically for me I believe they should have gotten confirmation! I'm not impressed .I'm sure I'll end up paying the penalties for mistakes they made!

They might be amazing CPA's but we never got that far. My wife and I have always used TurboTax but with the purchase of a new home we thought an actual person would be more helpful. Lilly was friendly enough but absolutely refused to even give me a ballpark of costs to prepare taxes. Even after I assured her that I understand there are variables that affect prices but needed to know if we are talking $200 or $800. She kept insisting we come in to have them review for a quote but it's just a waste of time if they charge $1,000. Pretty disappointing.

I have also spent $1000s of dollars in CPA and associated charges at Secuity Tax Services. Unlike Jeff Sherman "was fired?!?", I am extremely satisfied. Or can be satisfied. If you put on your big boy pants and let Bob go to work, and are reasonable, then Bob will have another happy client. If an individual has an entitled outlook, and is not willing to provide information in a timely manner, there is no amount of professionalism that can change that. My personal experience with STS exceeded my expectations. I spent 11 months working with Bob, and his expertise helped me through a very stressful time in my life. Lots of "e x" words aside, I have since successfully recommended him. And my IRS drama is in the past. The fact of the matter is that Bob always made time to return an email or phone call. Even after my service was complete! He did what he said, and was up to date on his tax knowledge. I worked hard to improve my defaulted tax situation, but Bob worked harder. Thanks to Pam as well for her book-keeping.

After paying $1,000's in fees to Security Tax Services, I got horrible advice and then was told I am too high maintenance after they misinformed me. They cost me $2,500 in extra IRS penalties due to their incompetence and misinformation they gave me. If you want a CPA who over promises you and fires you as soon as you hold them accountable for their incompetence, then hire Security Tax Services. Otherwise, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a professional CPA who has the competence to give good advice and the integrity to acknowledge when/if they make a mistake. I realize not everyone is perfect but the way that Bob handled my issues was very unprofessional and certainly not the character of a person I would want handling my books and taxes.
