Just use a large bank. There's no upside to it being a small credit union. You can be sure if you overdraft you have no chances to transfer money over and correct your balance, they just immediately hit you with a fee. There seems to only be downsides to banking with them vs just using an established bank

They place obnoxious pop-up ads within your private account area of the online banking without your permission and refuse to remove them. They are more interested in pushing their products than valuing their members.

I have experienced over 25 years of excellent service! Cheerful and helpful staff. Provides all my banking needs and it is near home in downtown Everett, and has easy parking.

Terrible auto loan carrier because payment system is archaic and difficult to complete if you live outside its physical city. Need to transfer my loan out ASAP!!!! Not customer service friendly at all

Absolute worst payment system for auto loans. From taking for ever just to get to make a payment to charging an extra 10 dollars just to make the payment. Will be refining and going somewhere else.

I have been with SnoCope since 2002. I’m very happy with them. They’ve always been there for me when I’ve needed help. And, I have been told no, I think once. I respect they’re guidelines.

They said if you work in WA then they'd do the loan. I'm ordained in the state of Washington so I forwarded them that info and they told me it wouldn't work. Then they told me to have my pastor send them a letter stating that I go to church in WA, which is where I'm ordained. I honestly don't understand their logic so we did business with another local credit union.

I had an auto loan from them. I don’t live near them so transactions were by mail. When I sold the vehicle and paid off the loan they wouldn’t accept an electronic transfer so I had to pay additional interest and it caused a week delay in getting the title. They said they had to wait for the check from my bank to clear. Then they delayed mailing the title for another week for no apparent reason. I wouldn’t use them again until they joined the 21st century.

Literally just got an account with this credit union. Payment was due on a car loan September 15th. However, I had not received any paperwork from this credit union regarding my loan. I called last week to get the loan information and inform them that I still had not received any information from them. The woman gave me the loan number over the phone so that I could login to make a payment. The login screen ended up locking me out because the username was incorrect. Never received or created a username. So instead I mailed a check from my bank, mind you, over the installment payment amount. Today I receive a notice from Credit Karma that SnoCope credit union stated that I never made my first payment between Sept. 30th and Oct. 4th. The payment isn't 30 days late and I haven't received a late notice from this institution. Definitely makes me re-think doing any future business with this company.

SnoCope is a stand alone credit union on Rockefeller in downtown Everett. It has it's charms, in that it's a credit union rather than a bank, it has a small town feel, and it is partnered with BECU. However, their tellers are not very well trained. I go in and perform the same transaction every month, and there is no uniformity in the way they process it. Each teller seems to have their own way of doing things.
