I still can't get over how bad my experience was with this credit union. I went in looking to start a line of credit. I had to wait about 10 minutes after my appointment time before I was helped...that's fine, it happens. The gentleman who helped me seemed friendly enough, and got my application done. I was told it would be a few days, and they'd be in touch. A few days later, I received an email telling me I'd been denied. I called the branch to find out what was going on, and the woman there told me that I needed to give her a "code word." I went back and forth with her for five minutes explaining that I'd only just applied, and do not have an account yet. She repeatedly told me that she understood, then immediately would ask for my code word before she could help me. By the end, she was actually giggling at me before asking for the non-existent code word again. I told her that I would find another bank, and disconnected for good. I'm now receiving constant emails asking me to sign something that I can't access, and the bank will not respond to my emails. After reading other reviews about security issues with them, I'm thinking I dodged a bullet here. I've set their emails as spam, and moved on to a different credit union that's very helpful. I hope others out there will see this and avoid this juvenile scam of an organization.

WSECU is such a great bank. They have always helped me with, loans, personal loans, car loans and credit cards. When other banks would have not. I cannot express enough about my bank WSECU.

Concerns About Security and Privacy PracticesI have been a loyal member of WSECU for over a decade and have always valued this bank. However, I have growing concerns about the security and privacy measures currently in place. It has come to my attention that the bank uses the complete SSN for identity verification. This approach presents potential vulnerabilities and risks. Please read up on why banks do not and should not use our SSN to validate our identities each time we need to use their services. This puts our data at risk.Additionally, the online platform and apps do not provide essential features like the option to report fraud. Consequently, customers are compelled to either visit a branch or make a phone call. The latter process involves sharing a plethora of personal details, such as driver's license number, DoB, mother's maiden name, secret code, and even the SSN. At the very least, we should be able to provide sensitive information to validate our identity by typing it in if we are not in a private location. These practices not only poses security concerns but also makes me question how customer and user-centric is this institution based on these practices.I trust that WSECU values its customers' security and privacy. Fraudulent activities will continue to occur. I urge WSECU to review and enhance these measures for our safety.

This bank is the best bank of all times. Fabulous! Excellent customer service! They are better than any of the huge banks. I love them! Always have! We have been banking with these folks for over a decade. Extra kudos to Marissa. She is amazing!

WSECU is a great organization with terrific people who are always available to help you. Car loans are easy to arrange, account management works well online, on mobile app or in person. Three generations of my family are WSECU clients. Wouldn't go anywhere else

The one thing I love about WSECU is that you usually never wait very long. They always have a smile and service is usually fast and accurate. And unlike regular banks, as a union, they have many features for supporting you as a client. Best of all, you don't get hit with a whole bunch of hidden service fees. It's plain and simple to understand.

I banked with them for years, they're shady and don't respect their account holders. Your account balances are never accurate and youll probably end up part of a lawsuit against them for taking money from you.

The worse walk-in experience ever. I tried to make a car loan payment using my non-WSECU debit card and the cashier keep saying "us bank may charge you a fee for cash advance" what cash advance? I'm paying my bill not cash withdrawal!!! And she asked my debt card signature so I wrote see ID and she gave me a lecture about writing see ID blah blah. I would never open an account with this stupid bank. Can't wait to take my loan to somewhere else.

There is not any words that can express; the gratitude our family feels towards WSECU and all of their Everett and phone employees!!! If it wasn't for this credit union during the COVID 19 pandemic and trying to survive the after affects of the rising market, my family would be living on the streets. WSECU saved us financially every time we need it no matter the circumstances we were going through at the time. They also made my 7 year old daughters 1st savings account opening memorable and educational, it even came with a prize!!! We bow down to this credit union and highly recommend this family to yours; if your in for a great relationship and promising financial future.

Opened a new account. Was told there was a balance transfer offer with 0 interest for 12 months and that I had 60 days to take advantage of it. When I went in to do this, I was told the promo was over and that I could do a balance transfer with 0 interest for 6 months. This completely ruined my financial plan. I had planned to make this my primary financial institution. Not any more.

Place sucks. Never available, horrible call back record, bad attitude tellers. I used to blame it on the location and surrounding area but I just can't keep fooling myself

Car loan process was easy but after 20 months of debit card fees to pay the car loan ($8.95) I think I have paid double on my interest. They don't make it straightforward to link your accounts. VERY SAD to say that I fell in their fees trap. $161.00 dollars later I've learned my lesson.

Worst bank I've ever had by far. Definitely not a credit union. Prepare to be flooded with hidden fees while offering you absolutely nothing in return. They are a prime example of falsely representing themselves as something they are not. Save yourself allot of time and money go to BECU.

New member and so far I am very happy. I am also very grateful for the great customer service via phone. Queue time can be long though.

Made a purchase online and got a fraud alert I tried calling back since my account was now frozen and I was on hold for way too long and still have not gotten a call back. I’m extremely irritated and not impressed
