Horrible customer service. Manager called Zack got entitled of his position and used that to refuse service to a client. I believe he had a bad day and he reflected his anger at me. No one should be treated they way he did to me. And the hiring manager should do better from hiring a sensitive as person. He cursed, yelled and followed me to my car saying ", leave" in anger tone. He should be checked about his attitude. Customer shouldn't feel too freighted to go to the store. He should learn to treat everyone equally.

I appreciate the folks that work at this Safeway. They have been helpful many times. The manager has been especially helpful, went out of the way to take care of an error that was due to the website/app system, something that was completely out of their control. This is an older building but it's well taken care of and clean inside.

Safeway was a victim of the overgrowing homeless population, and all I can say is being a community member, I have seen their efforts and they are finally starting to pay off. Literally years ago, they cleared out the woods next-door just to stop the bums from camping and they've gone above and beyond trying to maintain their property despite the homeless population trampling them I came in here first thing in the morning and probably watched three different homeless men take off with stuff that they didn't pay for. It was really disturbing and I have got to give it to the Safeway employees for showing up to their job every day and doing the damn thing. The homeless population has diminished quite significantly since my brother was murdered in this parking lot, he died somewhere else, so it's not technically where he was killed but ever since then the homeless population seems to have really diminished. I don't know if it's from me threatening them or if it's because they have moved on somewhere else but let's just be grateful . Thank you Safeway for giving us a local place to go. Even though I don't like your prices I think your employees are great and I think you guys are trying really hard despite the homeless population

I went to Auburn first what while it states 1 AM closing time then I came to this location and same 1 AM timing was available online. I pulled up with the cars in the lot and employees inside who saw me at the door ignoring me and ignoring Making any eye Contact. Then another man came running down trying to get in, he saw the sign and just looks so disappointed. When he started speaking and motioning towards me he said he was deaf and had a death association pamphlet take Splaine to people. He said he was hungry and it's at 1 AM online and his phone is dead. He ran here because he was hungry and he use the information available that Safeway put out. Thank God I had some extra food by miracle when a restaurant gave me a lot of extras while closing I happily gave it to him but I'm truly disappointed in you Safeway
