Unfortunately this is the closest center with a pool to accommodate my grand daughter. Went there 2 weeks ago and they're yet again remodeling, but this time it's the locker room and changing area without an estimated date for completion. The last remodel took over a year and there's nothing spectacular about it.

Fire alarm is going off every 5 minutes and disabled customers are sitting crying from the stress of the situation and the staff does nothing just says sorry we are not allowed to close.

Advertises childcare but they never staff it. I've been a member for months and they just say "we don't have anyone working in that position, sorry still no childcare" Also, they've just closed for an entire week. Their pool hours are very minimal (12pm-4pm) Not impressed so far.

6 years after my previous review I do need to take a couple of stars off for the place falling apart. We can set aside the fact that one of the pools has been out of service since November 2022 (originally slated to open back up 12/22, then 3/23, then 7/23, it is now 8/23 with no estimate). But there are a lot of other maintenance items that just have not been kept up with: the handicapped shower stall in the women's locker room has been closed for months, a bench in that locker room has been broken for close to a year, the walls are literally rusting away (see picture), had a staff member be incredibly rude to a teammate while playing pickleball, and they haven't been very forthcoming in communication about any of these issues.We have been members here for years (since the first year it opened). Our whole family has come here for workout classes, swim lessons, and for PT after injuries. The equipment is usually in working order and there is a variety to chose from. The track is small, but on a nice day, you can walk or run in the park beside the center. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Our experience today was an absolute nightmare for starters. 90% of the facility was closed, and the staff knowingly didn't disclose that. We had a child with us who was unable to swim due to the water being too deep, and they had an overcrowding issue as well.Sabrina had told us we could get reimbursed but then were shortly denied a reimbursement. We were scammed big time. I would encourage anyone to go anywhere else. Staff are super rude.****Update**** After swimming here, we are all now sick. The facility is also apparently a health hazard. I will be forwarding this to the public health department for review.

Nowhere does it say Max people was only 20 smh. Website says open pool is open but it’s not. Got there with some friends and my 1 year old. Wrote our names down wasn’t until we was about to pay that he said there was only 15 mins left and 10$ per person but couldn’t swim since it was packed. He was super rude nonchalant it was the Mexican dude with dark hair a bit heavier set, was acting annoyed that we wouldn’t pay the 30$ for absolutely nothing. Worse experience for a swimming pool and doesn’t seem like I’m alone on this ? oh and the pool with the slide won’t be open until like august ?

I called them for open hours of the pool, showed up 10 minutes later after confirmation of the pool being open but they were too full. Why couldn't they tell me they were full on the phone. Waist of time

Friendly staff, reasonable prices and lots of amenities. Can't wait for the new slide and pool to reopen.

Since I live close by, decided to get membership. This is a nice facility and clean. I mainly use the basketball court. The court is COLD. Places like MetroPark Community Center, LA Fitness, and YMCA keep their basketball gym 66 degrees while it is 60-62 at the community center. This is during winter. Kids usually play and they are not aware as adults. The temperature is low, your hands are cold and muscles doesn’t want to move at the beginning. Gyms should be warm at all times. This is a Center that is not warm unless you wear a sweater. All staffs wear a sweater. Reported to General Manager but he wouldn’t heat it up. They don’t care about feedbacks because it is a County’s facility. I guess I’ll be playing basketball elsewhere. I’m not happy but I have voiced my opinions. Also, basketball hoops are lower than 10ft.I’ve been a member over a month. It’s been very disappointing.

Most corrupt community center to exist! Very discriminative and they do not take feedback ever! Staff are very much alike, ultimately contributing to an all-corrupt atmosphere. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a lawsuit involving them soon, esp when the building manager who isn’t a lifeguard starts guarding lol

Both lifeguards at evening open swim spend more time chatting with one another than keeping their eyes on the guests.Federal Way can't budget appropriately so it taxes their guest with a 12.5% service fee charge if you want something done.You are better off joining another pool and gym.

This pool is way too expensive - twice the price of nearby pools that are far superior. The pool room is muggy and uncomfortable. The bathrooms and showers are too small and narrow - it's easy to bump into the toilet paper rolls and soap dispensers. There is no "one-try free pass" to verify whether or not the facility accommodates you. I paid $8 and left after 5 minutes because of how swampy and crowded it was (no refunds allowed). Other pools are much better and half the price - don't waste your time and money with this place.

I didn't pay for one month and they cancelled my membership, which means I have to pay $50 for the enrollment fee ontop of the $35 monthly. Not worth it

Love being a member here. You don’t have to be a member to enjoy this Awesome facility and staff are very helpful. You can also rent spaces here for parties/gatherings. Been to a few weddings here too and it is always amazing.
