For being a donation site, the selection is pretty poor.

In general I love shopping at the Goodwill and when I go I make a practice of going on a Sunday or Monday to make best use of the color tag sales. I only buy the tag colors on sale so it takes time, patience and a lot of weeding through but I'm successful enough that I've usually got a list of things to look for from other family members and friends. I've been doing it for years at various store but this past Monday was the first time I've ever had any problem. I was busy going through the racks when a woman walked up to me and said she needed to take my cart up to the front. I told her no thank you, I'm still shopping. She said there was a store policy and that she needed to take my cart to the front and get me a new one. Again I told her no thank you, I'm not done shopping yet. She insisted that my cart go up front and stay there until I was checked out. I explained I wasn't ready to check out. I asked her what store policy was I violating. She couldn't tell me. We repeated this several times. As I mentioned before, it takes time and patience to weed through the well supplied stores to find the color tag on sale for the week and I was not about to relinquish what I'd managed to find so far and since I was still intending on continuing through the racks, I wasn't prepared to commit to buy some items in case I found something that better suited the need. When I'm on a mission I prefer to get in, by myself, so I don't have to talk and get it done and thus has become a happy place where I can focus on one thing, not talk and not get interrupted. Of course the woman (who never did identify herself) didn't know any of that or know me (I never recall seeing her at the Federal Way, WA store either) , but the whole thing was horribly embarrassing and totally threw me off. As such, it will be a long time before I set foot in that store again. Never had an experience like that at the Puyallup River Road store or any other kind of store ever. Might I suggest that store policies be clearly defined and posted so customers are aware of them before they start shopping? Having an unidentified stranger pop up beside you demanding to take your cart is unsettling and the aggressiveness of it sure feels like harassment or bullying.

This has got to be the worst thrift store for donations in history. Every single time we have tried to donate here, even when I have called and asked if they are open for donations, when we arrive they are closed for one reason or another. It's ridiculous! I do not recommend!!!

Waited 30 minutes in a line of cars to make a donation, only to have them turn it down despite it not being on the list of things not accepted. Employees were threatening me when I dared to complain about it. Called afterwards to complain to management and was just told they put it on file, no action taken or anything like that. Definitely never coming here, or another Goodwill again. Do yourself a favor and go to Value Village instead - they beat this place in every regard.

I dropped off a donation today, and just couldn’t have had a better experience. The gentleman who helped me, placed my boxes in the cart, thanked me for my donation, wished me a good day and opened my car door for me!

Not clean and overpriced items. Please stop pricing as if you are a Macy's you are a 2nd hand thrift store. Your items are donated for free. You will make more money with lower prices and still make money. You got it for free.

I upgraded my small kitchen appliances and did not know what to do with the old one. I wrapped up the appliance with a sign that said, “Works Good!” I was going to put it by the dumpster, but then I realized Goodwill is close by. Why don't I drop it off there? Glad I stopped by and gave it to the staff at this Goodwill. This Goodwill location creates jobs, and besides selling donated used items it sells brand-new products in boxes too.If you're in the area check this place out.

Tried to donate 3 times last week. Each time closed during their open hours. Tried calling and girl who answered couldn't tell me if they were open.

Trying to drop off items, items they get for FREE and then resell, and it's impossible to drop off. Online and over phone says drop offs 10am, yet I'm sitting here at 10 after and nothing. Call the store and they say it could be another hour. There's 5 cars all lined up here waiting. Makes zero sense. I'll just start throwing things in the trash I suppose.

They are very picky about what they will take and close early often. Not my favorite place to shop.

they were not allowed into the store until the closing time, I arrived at 4:50 just wanted to see if there was an item available and was not allowed in. Closing time is listed as five o'clock

I've tried donating clothes and some gently used housewares to this location in the last year or so but can't because the donation drop off is always closed or when open they're picky about what they take, one day they don't take clothes, the next no furniture, and their hours are all over the place. Shopping there has become ridiculous, their prices are CRAZY considering they get all their stuff for free. The furniture area is nearly empty (if only they'd take furniture donations...) and it's just not a good store, or company for that matter.

NO RESTROOMS!!! Rude and inconsiderate. Prices are outrageous. It had been a very long time since I had visited, but I stopped into shop for kids summer clothing. I ended up walking out and leaving a half full cart behind.

The cashier who was neither a man nor a woman has zero customer service skills. Dumped our purchase on the pile, unfolded, didn't even bother pushing it towards us on the counter, we had to reach under the plastic partition in order to get it. Frankly, in this area and knowing what type of people Goodwill employs, I shouldn't expect more.
