Was very unhappy about my experience. I forget the first lady that helped me and my girl. She was very well. The second lady I dropped a ring off to besides it said a three-day return. Almost 14 days later. I've called multiple times. Everything was getting on the plane to leave the state so it's very upset that I didn't get it before and I understand being busy but it's something that I'd figure they would tell you beforehand. I came back four days later after leaving. No call. No text, no voicemail. Nothing. I actually just came in instead of calling this time because it's almost been 17 days since I dropped off the ring. Then she said oh we tried to call you multiple times. No, you didn't. And also what kind of professionalism doesn't leave a voicemail nowadays. Just so I know you try to reach out to me. Then to quote me $480 more for resetting the prongs. At that point I don't know too much about jewelry I left. I went to talk to my grandmother who's been a jeweler since she was a kid. She took it to her other friend to have it redone. They looked at the prong said they are fine. Now trying to be calm about this situation I just left and how quick she was to pull. Oh if you can't pull the $480 we have payment plans. When I can definitely pay the 480 right out. I felt a slap in the face. I will never do business here again. I was told Fred Meyers was a great place to get jewelry and have a good warranty. It lost all respect with me that day

Complaint and Description of employee: Long dark brown curly hair, a balled lip piercing, black square shaped glasses and about 5'5 and appear to be female!Hello there! I recently, around noon today went to Fred Meyers to do my usual shopping. I went ahead to self checkout today and had planned to use two different payment methods at the self checkout. So, I went ahead and scanned the items that I wanted on my first card and paid for them using the scanner. I put the scanner down after scanning the items that I wanted on the first payment method I intended on using. After, as I was getting ready to scan the other items, the cashier, was staring at my screen trying to observe what I have scanned so far and they very loudly said "it looks like you have only scanned 7 items". And I mentioned to them that "I am using another payment method along with the one I just previously used". After that, they watched every other thing that I scanned for the second time and it felt uncomfortable. I could see if I was trying to make an exit and trying to leave with un-scanned items, but I wasn't at all! I also decided not to put any of my items in a fredmeyer bag and they mentioned that I was supposed to? (I had my own reusable bags in my car) I've just never heard of that!!

So far I have no complaints about this store. It's clean, I find everything I need and I never have to wait long to check out with a person.

I like to shop at Fred Meyer and I expect the highest quality so I was verydisappointed when I started peeling my russet potatoes to find they were probably out of storage and there was not even one unblemished potatoes. I have had better potatoes from Walmart and Winco. !! However I will continue to shop there but may buy produce elsewhere.

I love Fred Meyers Jewelers and my husband and I get into real trouble in the clearance section pretty regularly! The staff behind the counter are exceptional whether you're buying something extremely economical or priced in the thousands. The quality of the pieces I've purchased have always been great! The lifetime warranty has always been a lifesaver especially if you lose a diamond. Even one of the small ones are expensive to replace. The up front cost is nominal as compared to the price of sizing and/or repair. Given that I am a size 10 and most rings come in a 7, everything I buy has to be sized. This service pays for itself with the first sizing The other fantastic service I use regularly is their layaway. Lifesaver! Especially around birthdays and holidays! Watch their ads as those have some amazing deals especially around the holidays. Keep your eye on the clearance. There are always great deals there as well. Happy hunting.??

Zif at the seafood department found it necessary to deny my gf and I the "$5 lobster tails, while supplies lasts".....he gave us a limit of 10 regardless that we both had a Fred Meyer app account. Who died and made him God? Even after I verified at checkout and was assured by the supervisor that I can get more because there were lots.....Zif still hesitated on bagging the remainder 7 for me. He wouldn't even check if there's more in the freezer....when I knew there were, via master count by the supervisor.....it was even closing time, at least for the seafood department, so shouldn't Zif be pushing these 1day sales? Is he trying to prevent Fred Meyers from making sales? We were ready to buy 100 lobster tails for our friends' upcoming weekend wedding BBQ.....was trying to spend money locally.......but because my gf and my ethnicity, we were discriminated? That's how it felt....... It would've been great if Fred Meyers were able to allow us to treat our friends after these years of pandemic hardship with a lobster tail or two......it's not every day that we get a wedding, definitely not every day that we have money to spend on lobster tails. Zif saw to it that we were denied of any happiness. He should not be a face at Fred Meyers.

Went in to look at engagement ring ideas and to get my ring size, Tatiana was so helpful and very knowledgeable! I would rate 5 stars if it wasnt for the other employee staring at me and my partner nearly the whole time. It made us really uncomfortable and unwelcomed, we left shortly after.

The only reason why they have a redeemable two stars is because they finally replaced the casing to my watch.Most of the people working there are not nice at all- they lack true customer service & can be completely condescending at times.I brought in my watch to have the battery replaced & after prying open the back, they told me they didn’t even have the battery. Fine. But I turn the watch over & it was damaged to say the least. You could clearly see where the gal hammered between the casing & the back, chipping & ruining the perfect watch, in addition to scratching the back.The manager, Cindy, said they would ship it out to one of their partner companies to smooth it out. Fine. She was kind at first.After waiting about two weeks, I returned to pick up the watch. It was still damaged. She basically tried telling me it was fixed; as laughable as it was, I was irritated because why would any customer accept a damaged piece of jewelry when they brought it in in perfect condition. Her kindness turned into a short & rude demeanor. Why am I being treated with POOR customer service when your employee ruined & damaged my nice, perfectly well taken care of watch? I am not going to accept a damaged watch. She told me they could replace the casing of the watch- fine. Waited a few more days & picked up the watch which was finally in good condition.I wouldn’t trust this Fred Meyer Jewelers with any of your valued pieces. If you’re desperately looking for a jewelers & don’t care how you are treated, then you’ll be fine here. Otherwise save your time.

There is nothing special about shopping or goods selection here. Since becoming Krogers, personnel apparently have been required to appear to be more friendly. Prices are higher and packaged goods are smaller.
