Automotive Staff are extremely unhelpful.. I've been trying to get my tires changed for about a week now. I had questions about the type of tires i needed for my car so I tried calling them several times and no answer. So i came into the store to speak with someone at the Automotive desk and the guy there was EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL. He seen me walk in and the phone was ringing off the hook and he just stood there, tried to look busy then walked off. I waited again for 10-15 minutes and he came back. I asked for help and he asked me what I wanted. I said i had questions about my tires and if they were the right ones for my car and if i could schedule an appointment. He just said, look online for the tires you need and we only accept appointments on the website then walked off. I ordered tires online and they were scheduled to be delivered on a Monday so I scheduled a installation appointment for the next day at 7 am. Tuesday comes and 15 minutes before my appointment they cancel it because two tires didn't make it in time and was lost or delayed shipment. So i wait Tuesday all day with no updates. No answer again when i try to call the Automotive desk. So I call Walmart.com customer service, they tell me they will be here Thursday. I tried to schedule another installation on the walmart app but it doesnt let me and says "please try again." I tried to call the automotive desk again on Thursday and no answer again .. So i come into the store, and theres someone at the automotive desk. I ask him if my tires all made it there, he goes back to check and they are all there. Great! So i ask if i can schedule and he says, yea we can do tomorrow. I ask what time. He says we have 7 am open. I say, ok great 7 am works. So Friday 7 am i get in the store, nobody is there. A mechanic walks in and asks if i needed help, i tell him i had a appointment for my tires to be installed and they were already delivered here, he says "We don't have a tire guy in today. Doesn't matter if you have an appointment or not. They probably called out. You can wait around to see if they show up or not." Then walks off .. Ok .. so i wait to speak to someone again to see if i could just grab my tires and go else where to install ... one hour goes by and NO HELP. A Store Manager and Store Lead happen to walk by and notice us sitting and they come over and ask if we've been helped. I say No, and just briefly explain whats going on. He goes back into the mechanic shop and 5 minutes goes by and he comes back out, says someone will be with me soon after they finish an oil change. Store Manager says he'll check back in a few to see if they help me. So i wait, and a mechanic comes by and says "you don't have an appointment. We don't have anything for 7 am. You probably scheduled with the other Walmart on 314th." I say no, explain i spoke to someone yesterday here in person. He says "no you probably mean the other Walmart on 314th " .. like i just said i was here and i spoke to someone HERE. He says, okay. And walks off again .. Manager comes by again and he goes back into mechanic area and he comes back to tell us their air compressor is broken and they have a mechanic enroute to fix that. He apologizes and apologizes to two other ladies who were waiting to be helped. They were there for oil changes. The manager tells us all he's going to pay for all our stuff. He paid for both their oil changes. He refunded me one tire $75, gave me $25 store credit. I asked if i could take tires else where and have it installed and he said yes thats fine. He says he will PAY for that too. So i go down the street to Discount Tires, it ends up being $154.15 for installation and everything. The Walmart Manager instructed me to come back and bring my Discount Tire receipt and he'll get it taken care of. I bring my receipt back and one of the other managers in front give me $154.14 cash. I'm so shocked!! I'm so so grateful for Store Manager DeWayne and Store Lead Mirna!!!! Thank y

I received notification to be at my appointment at 1 PM. I arrived and the auto center was closed. Totally wasted my time. Then they didn't want to refund the money they had already taken. It took several hours of visits and phone calls to get my money back.

My car decided it needed an oil change 2 days before a trip. Brought it to Walmart thar afternoon, expecting to wait for 3 hours because if previous reviews. I drove up at 4:01 and was out by 4:25. The attendants knew their stuff and selected the right oil without my having to tell them. I drive a hybrid, so it isn't a standard selection. They informed me that it would be an additional $10 for the bottled oil - which brought my total to $69 for a full synthetic oil change. Which was $50 less than what I paid elsewhere. They were quick, kind, considerate and thorough. Told me I was missing a bolt (1 out of 11) and then was told that was pretty good, since most people were usually missing several by the time the vehicle was 5 years old.

If you are thinking about buying affordable tires on Walmart website and getting them installed in Walmart Auto Care Centers on 16th Ave S in Federal way, think twice, read my review and then think again. I had a very unpleasant, down to outright humiliating, experience in what was supposed to be a straightforward transaction. I have ordered 4 tires online and asked to deliver them to the Walmart Supercenter in Federal Way on 16th Ave S. I have made an installation appointment at 9 am on the first available day in the system. Day before an appointment I received a reminder of my appointment by email. Next day I drove straight from my night shift job at Bellevue to the store and was there 5 min before the time. First in line! While waiting, I have checked my emails and was unpleasantly surprised to see an appointment cancellation email due to unavailability of my tires. The email arrived at 7:00 am, two hours before. Nobody tried to call me and warn not to come. To my relief, the Auto Care shop manager was able to find similar tires in stock. But my relief was premature... To my astonishment, he refused to do the job right away. Since the appointment was cancelled, he didn't see it on his tablet. Showing him the confirmation email didn't change his decision. Me: "But I have an appointment"! Him: "No, you don't. Your appointment was cancelled". And so on. I was told that I will have to wait more than 2 hrs (!) to have my tires installed. He will try to put me in between the appointments. Me: "But I have an appointment"! Him: "No, you don't"... I mean, really?! I was there, the tires were there. What's the deal? After that I drove aside to clear the entrance to the shop and to decide what to do. I returned to the line in less than 5 min. The shop manager approached me and turned downright hostile. He decided to "punish" me some more because I "left HIS area" and said that now he cannot promise me any estimate when I will be served. I was very upset but at first I agreed to wait. While I was waiting, other vehicles were inserted before me. After waiting two hours I decided to cancel my online order and left. The whole situation, including my frustration about cancellation by email two hours before the appointment, could be resolved easily to everybody's satisfaction, if not for the rude and unacceptable behavior of the Auto Care Centers manager. Good luck! You'll definitely need it.

As someone who knows nothing about cars, the staff was extremely kind and accommodating. I came in for an oil change, but didn't realize it was an hour before closing and it's first come first serve. They were busy and weren't sure if they'd be able to fit me in, but they made it work and they were super considerate. They also let me know a few other things that needed some fixes. Fast with my oil change and overall just a pleasant experience

I showed up and the manager was already hassling the man who would be servicing my car in front of me (VERY UNPROFESSIONAL). I was told the oil change would take 1 hour and I would be called on my phone when it is done. So I went shopping and when I was finished I went back to the auto center and waited to be called. The manager saw me sitting there and didn't mention anything so I figured my car was still getting serviced so I sat and waited. 2 hours later I look outside and my car had been sitting in the parking lot for god knows how long and NOBODY notified me. Apparently customer service seems to think people like sitting around waiting... I found the manager and told him that is my car is it done? With attitude, he told me.. "well it's parked out there so yes." I told him that it is ridiculous that nobody called me to notify me and he did not give 2 turtle sh*ts. I'd also like to point out that the management was arguing with an employee in front of multiple customers. VERY unprofessional and VERY rude management and employees. I will never be going here again and suggest others avoid this place and pay a couple of extra dollars to get it done by professionals and not incompetent miserable staff. 1 employee was nice to me and that was the man helping me get my car set up to get the oil change, everyone else was terrible. I'd give it zero stars if I could!

I got tire flat in this morning because when I make a left turn hit the road curb, and my brother refer me to the Walmart tire auto center, he mentioned that the price is unbeatable with any tire shop and Costco since his friends made an tire change is just 37 bucks per tire on Douglas brand for the sedan which is cheaper than you purchase some used tires at tire shop. Mechanic in this place is polite and friendly, they treat each customers like a family, thanks for replaced a new tire for me and the price is reasonable, would love refer more friends here whenever they need. Thank you

Went in on a Sunday after popping by the 314th store and being treated like a woman who was worthless, and they took care of me right away. 3 of the men who worked there Matt, Alex, and Tom could see I was clearly in distress and I told them I needed to get to Monroe in a hurry. They had me pull my car around and got my ticket going right away and they made sure to come out and keep me updated on when I was next. Thank you guys! There was a little bit of wait but that's to be expected on a Sunday when no other shops are open! It is first come first serve, so don't throw a fit when there is a wait.

Honest people, honest pricing, and genuine service. Came here to patch my tire and have it remounted - work was prompt, precise, and their estimate of how long it would take was spot on.

I would only recommend the most basic oil service here. I felt it was a rushed job. Also, Don't include full vacuum in included service, if you "half-@$$" it. Then to top it off, the little reminder sticker had 135,xxx miles for next oil change when MY mileage was already at 153,xxx. Annoyed.
